>Is there anything more pathetic? You for getting this triggered.
Leo Fisher
>WHY DOESN'T THIS GAME ALLOW ME TO BE NEUTRAL
It does, you just pick dialog options that are neither paragon or renegade.
Jace Ortiz
>making up arguments I've personally never seen anyone complain about this I bet you make headcanons aswell
Nathaniel Ward
>this thread again
Will you fuck off
Xavier Baker
The good thing ME did with karma is Paragon and Renegade were two separate scales, where gaining one does not reduce another like it's done in many other games. It makes sense when you're doing reasonable neutral playthrough. However the fact that you absolutely need to max one or another to get them dialogue options makes the whole system useless and stupid. Also, renegade options are actually retarded in majority of situations, my latest full-renegade playthrough was rage inducing.

>I've personally never seen anyone complain about this
Literally any game that has you make moral choices like inFamous or Mass Erect has people bitching that they want to be neutralfags
Carson Parker
I don't want a neutral system and I don't want pic related either. Can we just have morally ambiguous choices please?
Samuel Green
Yeah, you can find them in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt videogame. It's good
Hudson Brown
It's less because of neutrality and more because morality in videogames can't seem to find any ground between a literal saint and a baby-eater. Bioshock being a prime example of that.
Can't I just be only kind of a dick?
Nicholas Davis
Holy shit this. Why are people blaming players for a game's faults again? And how much do they pay you?
David Lewis
Its because games that only have options to: BE THE WORST GUY EVER or I AM THE LIGHT IN THE NIGHT PREPARE FOR A FIGHT EVIL DOERS
Games that dont have a strict be evil or be good sort of system in place allow for more depth because you dont feel as forced into going all the way with a certain archetype, especially in games where dedication to either side is heavily rewarded.
The witcher has moral choices without a red/blue bar system in place so you can choose to do whatever you want to whoever you want without the game world assuming your the worst, only those involved and affected by your choices will.
Blake Brooks
Its not about being neutral.
Its about having a choice between being a Genocidal Psychopath Ass whole or a Saint.
What i want is the ability to make choices like a real human being.
Evan Hughes
>so you can choose to do whatever you want to whoever you
Except actually roleplay
God Witcherfags are delusional
Ryder Bennett
you can be a dick without being evil, Mass Effect's inability to understand this is the reasons it's the worst Kotor sequel since ToR.
Zachary Howard
Don't give us good choice bad choice, give us fleshed out dialogue options where have to actually read what's going on and make decisions according to how you want to approach a situation. Baldur's Gate style, back when Bioware weren't useless cunts.
Aaron Brown
Yeah but trying to b as neutral as possible doesnt give you similar rewards to the ones you get for being either Genghis Khan or Gandhi.
Brody Torres
The notion of wanting to be neutral in an RPG is a valid answer to a flawed question. The suggestion of wanting a third option between 'good' and 'evil' shouldn't exist, because an RPG in which the only options are 'good' and 'evil' shouldn't exist either. You should have a range of choices not tied to any implied moral value. There's nothing interesting about having exactly two diametrically opposed choices labeled plainly. Decisions shouldn't boil down to "good cop bad cop", but instead to "how I want my character to behave". To do it in such a binary way is just boring.
James Gutierrez
more like the series actively punishes you for not going 100% good or 100% bad, effectively preventing you from choosing what you want
Liam Powell
>I'm only roleplaying if my black and white moral choices are representeted by a point system, not by actual ingame consequences

Brandon Myers
game should let you chose depending on the situation
context is everything, "good" choice must not always lead to good end
Justin Gomez
Sup Forums is a paragon board
Dylan Cooper
Yeah, I can think of something more pathetic. Posting the same thread over and over for months is pretty high up there.
>doesnt give you similar rewards Anyone who honestly wanted to be neutral shouldn't expect or want a reward for not making decisions. Unless they meant neutral in the sense of doing as much bad as good, but that's an option.
Nicholas Price
I don't fucking get these threads. I like to play in a neutral way, meaning, I heal the fucking krogans, I make the alliance between geth and talifags. But when someone pisses me off I throw him outta window or shoot him in the back. I'm neither a renegade nor a paragon and I don't think playing as a pure version of the mentioned could be better than this.
