what is this picture suggesting?
I hate this SO much.
I appreciate the idea of making people play for longer by having them play through a second time or something, but depending on the game there is a good chance I will be bored or burned out / satiated after my first playthrough and I wish I could have just played that on hard to begin with.
she's displaying how soft the dog themed fabric softener has made her sweater, and is offering to use it on the knights clothes, which is why he is disrobing
Name THIRTY games that do this.
jackie chan
Metroid Prime
Ace Combat Zero
>Game has difficulty options
Killer7
cute anime dude
Resident evil 4
Very creative, my man.
Project X Zone
>game has easy and normal
>enemies are exactly the same difficulty
>normal just means it takes longer to get good stats
>hard mode increases ai difficulty and adds extra mechanics to enemies
This is the worst shit. Hard isn't hard when you already know how the entire game plays out, you fuckwit developers.
That's the opposite of bad design
>game has only one difficulty and it's hard as shit
>Ng+ is just harder
>all hard difficulty does is increase enemy HP until every fight is a tedious slog
Why don't they add 1 more ability per difficulty level as well as reducing down time inbetween attacks and uping damage done by both the players and bosses by a few percent.
The deal is done
Killing Floor 2 pretty much does this, at higher difficulties the enemies have completely different movement patterns
>beat game on Normal
>unlock Hard
>beat game on Hard
>unlock Easy
Bayonetta
>rpg with difficulty levels
>all it does is give enemies more health and makes them hit harder.
Every damn time.
Tales series does this but at least playing on higher difficulties means more loot drops, you get more bonus EXP, and you earn more GRADE from battles.
That works for some games, but if a game is balanced around combat taking a specific number of turns and your characters being able to take approximately some number of hits before dying, it will probably unbalance certain abilities if suddenly your characters die 2 turns faster, even if the damage is reciprocated on your side so enemies take about the same number of turns to kill.

>Game periodically breaks the 4th wall to mention how much of a casual you are for playing on easy mode or using the same move over and over
DOOM
I think Berseria is going backwards on the exp only. Put it on moderate and description says exp is less now but the grade is higher. Havent checked the other difficulties yet.
Still, the part about no real change apart from damage/enemy HP is true. Pretty lazy but I guess it'd be a ton of work to incorporate new AI and moves for higher difficulties.
