Uncharted is less about the shitty gameplay and more about the story and characters. You can say yeah the gameplay is shocking for a game in 2016/17, but the story and characters make up for it.

1 and 4 are about the story, the characters and the feel of aventure.
Although I have to admit both 1 and 4 have some cool action moments to Jeep you interested and 3 tried to focus a bit more on the characters (but failed at doing it).
I'm not going to comment on Uncharted 3, but to act like every Western game is bad legitimately is stupid. Especially when stuff like Shovel Knight, Crash, Spyro, Rayman, and more than exists.

I agree, a lot of those are clasics, but notice that there are hardly any decent new ones. When the shit to look forward to are generic open world and dlc infested multiplayer shooters by Ubisoft and EA with a few indie games here and there, there isn't much hope. There's a reason why most pc players just play assfaggots and counter strike, the majority of the other games aren't worth the time.
Also in terms of ps4 exclusives, Japanese games shit all over muh uncharted. Of course not all of their games are good, some just sell on fan service alone and have shit gameplay and weebs will still eat it up. At least sometimes it can be a mix of lewd and not absolute shit gameplay - nier automata for example
