Well to be fair they rendered an OpenGL intro, that's basically the movie scenes but in shitty 90s 3D, with about 5 seconds in total of what looked like to be a FPS/RPG with emphasis on "psychological survival horror", and whatever that means in that universe.

Net worth means nothing

The book only served as an inspiration, it literally shares nothing with the movie.

It means that if Coppola really gave a shit about this project he wouldn't have gone to Kickstarter to get the money for it. Even if you don't count land and property he's STILL got a cool 30-40 million stashed away somewhere.

some kind of openish world stealth horror game with shooting elements or something. the kickstarter is completely unclear except on the point that it's not supposed to be a typical shooter

fps without the shooter part and rpg with survival elements (i guess crafting weapons, and food and shit) and an emphasis on psychological horror (trippy hallucinogens, meta-reality type of stuff i suppose)

it's supposed to be the same upriver journey of Willard, but you can get lost in the jungle and discover new shit.
