Switchers, which games will you buy?
Circle them or something, let's see what everyone is interested in.

i wont spend time circling, im a pc exclusive player and am unfamiliar with most of these games so don't have an interest in any of them beside mario odyssee and sonic mania which im getting on pc. i hear good things about splatoon but i will wait for a pc port or emulate it before im going to be excited for a sequel that i know wont leave the platform its going to. arms looked fun for a 2 hour affair and i like bomberman but im not excited for it at all until i see more because they have an awful reputation with me for rehashing this particular series
>kof98
>metal slug
Wtf I want a switch now
Some of them are just plain weird to see on a nintendo console.
Like Romance of the three kingdomXIII. I don't see it selling really well.
>I will wait for a pc port of Splatoon
What the hell
Im glad that Mario Kart 8 is getting a port to the switch never owned the Wii U version
Also SnipperClips is a maybe because I dont know if its worth it if im just gonna be playing by myself.
>or emulate it
those are the only two ways i am going to play it, im not buying a wii u just to try a game in a series i don't even know if i would like
>Bomberman
>Zelda
>Splatoon2
>Mario Odessy
>Xenoblade 2
I don't own any other current gen colsoles, so I'll probably open up to multiplats too like Rayman and potentially Project Sonic 17. That's enough to justify the purchase of a console, wouldn't you say?
Looks pretty good for me desu. More games than I would usually buy in a year.
is MK8D giving all the DLC as base? If so I would highly consider it
Yes.
All MK8 DLC + new characters + new karts and parts + new items + can now hold two items at once + new proper arena battle mode with new arena tracks
Also now 60fps even in local multiplayer with 4 people
>Switchers
...
Is that just regular kof 98 or um?
go on with your pathetic list that you can somehow think "its much" but new characters new items dosnt mean shit. no new tracks thats a dealbreaker and everybody knows.
>new characters and items don't mean shit
>also gets new battle mode with new battle arena tracks
you're sad
Zelda, Arms, Mario Kart and Mario Odyssey are the only sure buys I have for now. Never bought a Wii U so I'd be interested in some other ports if they showed up but that's it for now.
See, I would have interested in Xenoblade 2, but see they forgot the "X", before the 2.
As of now I see no games worth value in 2017, other than Bomberman R. 2018 I would be interested in FE and SMT, but you see no trailers. If it turns out to be using a shitty upgraded 3DS engine, I have no reason to buy a Switch.
Hopefully a BB will release this year
...
>buying a switch at launch
>with that lineup
NO ONE is that stupid
Anyone have the version of this where it's seperated into Switch exclusives/Switch /Wii U exclusives/Indieshit, etc
I am.
I want to play the best version of BotW asap.
I want to play ARMS and MK8 Deluxe with Sup Forums and online while it's fresh at launch.
I want to play Spla2n, Rime, SMT V, Disgaea 5, Project Octopath.
And later on I want Xenoblade 2, SM Odyssey, Fire Emblem Switch...
Green = Buying on Switch
Blue = Buying or already bought on other systems
Red = Not buying
Overall this is a pretty awful list of games IMO.
I'm pleased with what's been announced so far in terms of first party support and the amount of third party support and ports that have been announced is very promising in terms of how easy it is to port games to the Switch and develop for it. It might not get the big AAA third party support like Red Dead Redemption but if it gets lots of weebshit, dungeon crawlers and roguelites in addition to a strong first-party line-up, it'll be perfect for me.
I commute a lot so the portability is a big draw for me in a lot of games where I'd usually get them on PC or PS4.
A Switch is a lot easier to carry than a laptop.
Also, this image is missing Redout. I'm definitely getting that when it comes out.
not buying Xenoblade 2
what are you, a moron?

Hidden gem
I'm buying the Switch to play the exclusive Metal Slug 3.
Green - Almost certainly getting
Yellow - Need more information
Blue - Already played on other hardware
Red - No interest
Overall, not really enough yet to justify a purchase. Maybe they'll reveal more this e3.
>90% of these you can already play on PC or PS4
>b-but you can play on the go !!
The series does absolutely nothing for me. Hey if you've got 70+ hours to play a single video game, all the power to you. I've got other shit to do though.
...
I don't even know 70% of those titles on the right. Smash 5 would've been the seller for me.
Also at this point Cave Story needs an actual sequel.
I'm buying that of which looks like fun. For now its only zelda
Using So this is why I'm in no rush to buy one. Not going to individually critique games I didn't circle, but I didn't because they do not interest me, I'm unfamiliar with them, they look like something I could but wouldn't play on my phone or are eshop indie stuff I will never even look at.
I would like to ask you something, and this is not me being passive aggressive or hostile or anything. I am legitimately curious.
>I want to play ARMS
Why? What is it about ARMS that entices you? What makes you want to spend hours using joy cons to throw long range punches?
>IMO
IMO too, and that is with you buying games I have no interest in, and avoiding one of the few I would legitimately consider buying the system to play.
I'll admit, I am curious to see more about it. I just don't want another Bravely Default because I hated that game, but the presentation here, and seeming openendedness seems to have a lot of potential I'd like to see more of.
>world of goo still being ported to new consoles
>sequel status: never
fuck you for reminding me
I was sold just by BotW. Zelda is by far my favorite IP, and I have over 23 years of memories and sentimental value because of it.
After seeing Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade 2, FE Warriors, and Spla2n, it just further confirmed my purchase.
I'm also getting I am Setsuna, Project Octopath, and a lot of those indies I never got around to when they were new and relevant like Shovel Knight and Stardew Valley.
People love to shitpost and say "Hurr durr only Zelda until Mario at the end of the year what a shit launch!" but, I see more reasons to buy a Switch than a PS4. They haven't even shown half of what they say is in development.
...
You may have 23 years of memories, but sound like a 14yo.
What part, exactly?
You sound like you're mad someone is excited for a Nintendo product.

Stuff with a question mark is what I'm hesitant about. Overall very hyped for a handheld with proper controls.
Will fast RMX eventually get a retail release as well?
I want to go fast however I want it physically on cartridge.
im buying all of these
