My Wii U actually ended up being the first console I've ever sold. I originally bought it mainly in hope for more main console Monster Hunter games, which didn't happen.

flying makes exploration better. very few games have flying mounts because those games aren't designed with very good verticality unlike xcx. my favorite part of that game was flying around and seeing the beautiful world

For starters the Switch won't be backwards compatible for obvious reasons.
Also, some of the rumored ports haven't been confirmed yet, not to mention other games that are most definitely not coming to other platforms until MAYBE when they show up on virtual conbsole 10 years into the future, like frozen dong and bayo2.

That's cute. Try again in 4 or 5 years. Dolphin released 13 years ago, has a huge development effort behind it and there are still dozens upon dozens of cases where it's not accurate.

In the early 2000s people couldn't get rid of Dreamcast games. Retailers would sell them to people in boxes. By the late 00s prices went up and they've skyrocketed in the past few years because of nostalgia and Shenmue 3. I only wish I had started collecting back then instead of thinking I only needed to own burned copies of games.

I'm only buying the games I want to play before they become expensive. Anyone who buys games to flip them in a few years is playing the lottery. The WiiU is going to end up like the Gamecube. Games are going to sit in the $30-70 range for a long time.
