2v1 are still easy to win most of the time

How's that brain cancer ?

1. The servers are colossal dogshìt, more or less expected from the incompetent company that is Ubisoft.

2. The game's core combat mechanic is solely rock-paper-scissor. You don't even need to time your blocks or anything because parrying is rendered EXTREMELY useless due to three factors:

A) Everyone regenerates stamina like they're on steroids

B) Slower attacking classes are left out in the dust because they're simply too slow to do any serious follow-ups and

C) Having someone run COMPLETELY out of stamina doesn't make them helpless.

They can still block your attacks repeatedly and effortlessly WHILST recovering. Parrying may be useful against heavy swings but because of the game's inherent nature of pushing everyone to be as cheesy as possible, no one ends up using them in any serious fights (unless they're behind someone) as It's more safe just spamming fast swings instead. This system MAY have required some skill if it involved a fourth direction like the game was inspired from (Mount & Blade) but instead It's been casualized down to 3.

3. Every single even remotely "experienced" player you come across will (and you in due time) cheese, cheese and cheese even more because that's what win matches in this game. Fair fights in the middle of the map? Fùck that, I'm gonna sprint across the map with my dedicated running gear, capping points, recovering endless HP in the process from the few skirmishes i was forced to partake in and only actually attack when It's at least 1v3 and when I'm behind a guy.

5. The game is STRICTLY Peer-2-Peer, meaning your personal gaming experience will flow in the wind every single time you decide to play. Dial-up, broken connections, ragequits.. You're forced to suffer through all of them in the form of giant 10+ second pauses (that also warp your characters around at the end of it) on a regular basis because Ubisoft was too greedy to get actual servers!

Because the combat is GOD FUCKING AWFUL. One of the worst games I've played in many, many years. Fundamentally garbage from the ground up. But the thing is, it'll sell well because it's a MOBA and because LMAO VIKINGS VERSUS SAMURAI SO COOL.

Is this serious or just mindless trolling? Points 1 & 3 (connection issues and crashes) are literally the only points that are true.

For points 2 and 3 literally git gud. It is not a rock-paper-scissor game, there is a second layer that makes it much harder and interesting, and you cannot cheese it. All characters are fairly well balanced, with maybe the vanguard viking being underpowered, but that's it.

If they attack you parry and they fall, if they block you guardbreak + push and they fall, if they run you do a lunge attack. Learn the fucking mechanics.

Because they are still learning the game? Get good and learn to use them yourself. And it's easy to parry lights if you are expecting them.
