And before someone tries to claim the cannon points toward it, is does not. When you get in the cannon, this is the angle it is pointing to. There is absolutely no indication to shoot that particular wall.

Look at the edges, they have dotted lines and are shaped triangular. Look from the other side when you are standing on the water. The canon points close to the spot, trial and error I guess.
