How do you cope with it, fellow poorfags?

By playing older games.
Just recently i've learned my PC runs oblivion but not skyrim

Now I'm in q quest to get all forms of lewd mods including loli
I was going to make a thread soon, actually.

I just install everything I possibly can after pirating it, of course to really know if I can run it despite the official specs recommendation
I had a few surprises this way, most times devs lie about this kind of shit, dunno why

Im good got a top end pc.

I pulled the trigger and bought used PS4

Not a single game exists where a radeon 7850/7870 wouldn't run a game adequately on reasonable settings. And those cards are from 5 years ago and cost next to nothing right now so being a "poorfag" in terms of computer parts is your own fault. You don't need the latest top of the line GPUs despite what marketers try to convince.

Play old games, there are tens of thousands of 10/10 games you can probably play on your phone, for free.

if you're too poor to buy a good PC, just buy a console like all the poor fags

Say that to a third worlder where the parts are 4x the original price.
It isn't so easy as you murricans make it to be, but oh well atleast we know Trump will shit all over your economy so it should be better for us.

Lower the fucking settings. Some effects are better left disabled.

Also if anyone could me direct to these mods, I'd be grateful.
I plan to have a loli follower of sorts to fuck whenever.

International shipping exists.

but then rather than their being the possibility of playing at 60fps/1080p you're guaranteed locked at 900p/30fps dogshit
why would anyone do that?

and jobs.

By buying a better PC with the money from my job

Did you really need this question answered for you

>third worder
>venezuela, third world of the third world
>software engineer
>made some good money working online, paid myself a ticket out of that shithole, now living in chile with a decent PC
>tfw to smart too be poor

whats your excuse gringo?

That's horseshit. Mankind Divided ran like absolute garbage on my 7970, no matter what settings. I also can't get a stable 60fps on BF1 even on minimum.

mm yea i'm still using 5870. most games run just fine if you don't care about graphics.

By lowering your settings and suck it up?

I taught myself to program and got a job. It helps.

Because shitvidia, shitel and aamd want people to buy new hardware every year.

How'd you do it, user?

You can't pirate easy for console, retard.
Also even if you have a 100 usd laptop, that can still run emulators.

lower resolution
adaptative VSync
endure the pain
if it's too hardcore, adaptative 1/2 refresh rate and bite the pillow

Haven't had that feeling for a long time now, so I don't remember. Not too interested in any of the new and demanding games.

old games. Nobody has played every single video game from the 90s up to 2010.

Also the occasional good indie that comes out (see Transistor,Terraria etc) helps.

this
I run crysis 3 on my raspberry pi just fine

it sucks to fall for the hardware jooz memes

Mankind Divided runs/ran like shit no matter what card user. It's an horribly optimised game.

As for the BF1 (this is assuming you play on 1080p) either you're lying or your CPU is bottlenecking as BF1 is very CPU heavy game. I get 60-70 fps on low settings with my 7850/i5-4690k, granted I have overclocked the 7850 quite a bit but still.

>old games

such as?

You already have a PC. You don't need to buy a new monitor, case, motherboard, mouse, keyboard, OS, or power supply. All you need is a processor, graphics card, and RAM. And that's if what you already have is bad.

Try something from the commandos series.

This only annoys me when they put a minimum requirement of DirectX 11 on their games, forcing me to upgrade my graphics card.

I have a really nice PC and I get payed on part time minimum wage at Walmart. All while paying the electric, water, internet, and phone bills every month. It's just a matter of saving up.

>mfw have $50,000 spare and use a 5 year old gtx 670

I'll upgrade one of these days

Ebin memes, bro
You can run old games with a toaster with a gtx 950-1050. You only need better if you want 144hz/4k or ultra settings.
Poorfags don't need those things.

Im playing morrowind, system shock 2,dungeon siege, dark souls, dead space,l4d,xcom,risk of rain, deus ex and another fuckton of stuff i got installed

>god level 3rd world country Brazil
>parts only cost twice as much
sure feels good not being an AY CARAMBA latino burrito cooking mariachi playing spaniard.

>working online
explain

make sure you post it on pcmasterrace titled "it's not much but it's yours"
make sure the gtx1080ti label is visible

I got a r9 280 which is like a ghetto 7950 that I also overclocked as well as a i5 4690k @4,4ghz and it does medium with a few settings on high with mostly 75+ fps
It's mostly the cpu still hitting max that's causing fps drops at times, though

>new game out that looks cool and fun
Witcher 3
D44M
Tomb Raider Anniversary
>PC likely too shit to play it smoothly
>How do you cope with it, fellow poorfags?
By playing it on PS4. Mine was cheaper than any reasonable PC upgrade.

I'll probably get a 1060 (or it's price equivalent depending what year it is) lol, too tight to buy anything else

>Not a single game exists where a radeon 7850/7870 wouldn't run a game adequately on reasonable settings.
But they look like shit on "reasonable settings"
>And those cards are from 5 years ago and cost next to nothing right now
You just got lucky with GCN, because AMD didn't upgrade GPUs for five years straight.

I try to stick with simple looking games. Astroneer looks low poly. Does that run well? The whole building shit seems like it could tax a bit.

GTS 450.

By learning to program and find a job

I can assure you that Astroneer runs like total shit

Lower the settings. If I can't lower the settings more then I upgrade.

No they don't. Nowadays the difference between medium and "ultra" settings is not that high.

And you never really need to drop below medium settings on 7850 to get nearly or consistent 60 fps.

>but then rather than their being the possibility of playing at 60fps/1080p you're guaranteed locked at 900p/30fps dogshit
>why would anyone do that?
Because you're not playing at 60fps/1080p with a poorfag toaster?
Compared to 8th gen consoles older PCs are gimped by
>limited VRAM (usually less than 4 GB)
>limited GFLOPS (especially nVidia cards everyone owns)
Limited VRAM means you lose a lot of resolution, limited GFLOPS means gimped shaders.
Both means you end up with low fps and the games look like shit regardless of settings.

>But they look like shit
Even on the lowest settings they don't. Resolution and anti-aliasing are the only settings worth cranking up.

>And you never really need to drop below medium settings on 7850 to get nearly or consistent 60 fps.
It still looks much worse than PS4 with just 2 GB VRAM.

That is usually the point where I realize its time to upgrade.

In 6 years TW3 was the only thing to do that.

But you do.

A budget PC gets better performance than a console ever does.

increasing resolution increases LOD, which means a lot more higher quality textures are loaded and a lot more polygons too. it's one of the harshest settings

By having a good paying job. I used to be like you, you know. But working as a health practitioner for the goverment pays all of my bills and more.

if you lower the res you can play almost anything new even with a toaster

If you had to recommend 3 games with low system requirements, what 3 would you recommend? By low I mean like New Vegas low or lower.

Nope, a desktop 7850 especially when overclocked absolutely demolishes PS4 in terms of performance.

Feel free to stop talking about things you obviously know nothing about.

>Even on the lowest settings they don't.
Yes, they do. Scaled down HD textures (so they fit into 1.5 GB) look shit, 1280x720 looks shit. Barebone shaders for 384 CUDA cores look shit.
I have multiplats on PS4 and PC and the PC versions simply look like shit unless you plug a recent GCN card with 4-8 GB in.

You don't know my pain.

>moved to chile
Hope you like mating with these, BABIECO! At least in Venezuela you can find some good, desperate for a better living, pussy.

By not having high standards. Beggars can't be choosers.

>moved to chile
You played yourself, user. Why didn't you pick a better country?

to make it clear. it's not GTX 980, it's 9800, PCIE 16 v1.0
Doesnt even have DX11

you should be able to play modern games in 720p

>Nope, a desktop 7850 especially when overclocked absolutely demolishes PS4 in terms of performance.
It doesn't. Is has less half the GFLOPS of a PS4 Pro. It has an 1/8 to 1/4 of GDDR5 memory and it has much less memory bandwidth.
Your poorfag toaster can't "demolish" a PS4 and you making yourself look like an idiot if you pretend that.

Dorf Fort
Factorio
BFBC2

can't even start Overwatch. I play CSGO on minimum to avoid screenfreezes and still got em.

>Not DDR2 RAM with that video card
Maybe it was just me who had to live the shitter curse of being stuck with DDR2 RAM motherboards from 2006 -> 2014, but I know your pain. I never had stuff like the 9800 though, was always stuck on shittier cards like the 6600, or the 9600. Even today I'm just on a shitty ass 650 2GB RAM that's still 'budget' but it's at least 4x better then my previous card. My motherboards PCI-E 2.0 though...

Then why exactly do I get around 40 fps on high settings at 1080p in Witcher 3 while the PS4 version of Witcher 3 struggles to get 30 fps on what appears to be the low settings?

I got two new GPUs since my 9800 and I'm a semi-poorfriend

Because you don't have "high settings" with just 1-2 GB VRAM, toaster jockey.
The PS4 version runs a mix of high and ultra locked to 30 fps.

If you are poorfag like me consider this
youtube.com/watch?v=SRuvMDxBGEw

I will build this with all used parts to make it cheaper and maybe ill build some trash cpu which can barerly run witcher 3 on minimum/ medium. My budget is 200$ because im poorfag. this month I earned 350$

...

Ha, that's amazing

>Because you don't have "high settings" with just 1-2 GB VRAM, toaster jockey.

Oh I don't?

geforce.com/whats-new/guides/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide#the-witcher-3-wild-hunt-texture-quality

>Like other open world games, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt employs a background loading system, enabling you to travel freely across the game's landmasses and oceans without encountering a single load screen. Unlike these other games, however, REDengine 3 manages to attain a high level of texture fidelity in these huge zones using as little as 2GB of VRAM, enabling users of previous-generation GPUs to enjoy max-quality texturing.

>The PS4 version runs a mix of high and ultra locked to 30 fps.

Nice delusions. The draw distance is god awful on the console versions and shadows draw distance is very limited too. It's also very washed out for some reason. And for like a good 6-8 months after the launch CDPR struggled to get the fps anywhere near 30. It would drop down to as low as 15 fps in the swamp areas.

I think you just have a buyers remorse that you spent 500 bucks on a 1070 when you didn't need to.

remind myself that i don't play modern games anymore

Texture resolution remains the same, only texture quality setting can change that. Polygon count always stays the same - LODs are technically different models. There's also tesselation but remember what cards we are talking about.
2GB is enough for full hd.

Toaster bread?

>Laptop
doesnt count you shit

>youtube.com/watch?v=SRuvMDxBGEw
Pretty much only thing it does better is overclocking the CPU ( not in the mood to kill mine off ATM as 3.2 GHz has done me well enough ) and the GPU, but otherwise I've got better nowadays that I spent maybe $350 on a prefrab from CyberpowerPC about a year and a half ago.
I really just need a better GPU nowadays, was honestly hoping perhaps a 1060 or 960, as both of those would be far better then my current card.

>Because you don't have "high settings" with just 1-2 GB VRAM, toaster jockey.
>Oh I don't?
>2GB is enough for full hd.
Sorry, you cannot call anything with 1.x GB textures on screen "high settings" in 2017, toaster jockeys. That's what we call "low settings".
And you can't have 4+ GB textures on screen like a PS4 can, because it's impossible with that five year old hardware. The RAM simply doesn't exist.
So unless you have a 8 GB GTX 1080, stop bragging about "demolishing" consoles, you make yourself the laughing stock of PC master race.

Reminder that it is always poorfag PC toaster faggots holding back gaming.

>have a new PC that can run anything at maximum settings
>still play on PS4 instead
Why is this?

Buy a console, they are dirt cheap.

Only problem is you are going to sacrifice gameplay, visuals and controls.

1060 user here, it's good enough. Kind of an overkill most of the time.

>Only problem is you are going to sacrifice gameplay, visuals
He is poorfag, he won't sacrifice visuals.
And gameplay is more on consoles, not just FPS and RTS.

I have a 1060 and 8gb ram and gould run D44m on fantastic settings at 60fps

Here's my laptop. I can only play xbox 360 and PS3 tier games.

>And gameplay is more on consoles
Wrongly worded, the gameplay is mostly terrible on consoles.

And you know, games are ludicrously fucking expensive.

Why would a laptop even need that much ram? Like who's gonna multitask on a laptop?

PS4 is secretly hacked on lower firmwares.
No one cares about hacking the Xbone.
Wii U is hacked.
3DS is hacked.
Piracy on consoles is easier than PC, if not the same.

Denial and damage control. Just keep telling yourself that you're not interested, or that you're too good for it. You'll be a piece of shit, true, but you'll have a means of coping with it.

Can this run crysis?

Just do like all the other cucksole users and trade games. It's basically pirating, just for consoles.

>build a really good PC
>nothing interests me to play
>just play games half way, then quit, finding a new game
>rinse and repeat

honestly the good thing about having a shit pc is installing and discovering older games, you can still emulate a shit ton of stuff.
only stupid people gets bored, that's what I say

So how much VRAM it actually got? It's an APU so it used RAM right?

>when you realize mankind is not worth saving.jpg

Play Doom and its mods.

There's a metric fuckton of Doom mods and custom maps and shit.

You got to solder physical chips or run the risk to brick your shit.
>only if you are retarded
In Pc you don't brick your hardware or have to pay shady faggots to do it for you.
