Should I replay this game

Should I? It's been long enough that I forgot the shit I hated but I've been kind of itching to replay this game. Will it hold up? It's been a very long time since I played this, almost feels like a decade.

Bump because I have to.

You're gonna have to replay this part.

Kind of a time waster but not bad iirc.

I think it mostly holds up, though admittedly the content from the sewer dungeon on is less consistently great than the first half of the game. Just make sure to patch it.

Bump

there's a console command to complete it

Other than the pots and pans why would you use that?

It holds up decently, still has the same good writing/voice acting. Combat is dated but not as bad as say morrowind/oblivion. There's also the clan quest mod that is pretty well done (some clan mission are better than others though). Still a better game than the majority of shit that comes out now.

if you thought it was 'kind of a waste of time' or something and it otherwise turned you off a replay

and mate just walk through the pots room. Just walk no through.

Well it was a supposed to be scary zone but really the highlight was pots and pans, it's a pretty weak part of the game and of what I remember the rest of the game outside of the sewers are just way better.

Everyone always talked shit about the combat but I don't think it was really objectively bad at all.

Please tell me there aren't nay more areas like the ocean house in this game. I'm a huge pussy and had to take multiple breaks during that mission and play without sound just so I didn't shit myself.

Yeah, grab the unofficial patch

The snuff film area was actually creepy and I've seen people die in real life. Those fucking jump scares man.

>play the game a load of times
>just finished brujah playthrough again
>melee is fun as hell, really fun knocking fuckers around with celerity
>play toreador
>get immensely fucking bored, quit while escorting ash through the sewers

Guns are just so fucking boring in this game

My last play was a melee Toeador, wasn't bad. I really only intend to play melee or blood magic tremere if I play again.

Yeah, after a lot of playthroughs only melee builds, gangrel and tremere are fun

How did the Tremere stack up? Is it worth it for a playthrough because it does seem like fun.

Their disciplines allow them to do all sorts of stuff, like shooting blood, stealing it, blowing people up. Pretty powerful clan

How does it effect the story? Seems like Tremere would be 3rd to Malk and Nos in that regard, are there any stats I should take?

Honestly with Tremere you can just dump stuff into thaumaturgy and you'll be fine combat wise. As a side you can drop stuff into defenses and guns as well as a backup. Of course persuasion is the best social stat.

As far as storywise, Strauss is nicer towards you and some people won't trust you as easily. If I remember right Andrei spergs out at you as well

Not much, Strauss has some extra lines obviously, you'll get a haven in the Chantry, every line referencing the clan you picked will be someone bitching at you and Andrei will have an extra remark about how much he hates your guts. That's pretty much it, nothing as major as Nossie and Malk.

>I've seen people die in real life

Cool story bro
