>coming to the switch
I am now.

I've been on it since I found it. The premise is really cute and pleasant.
Still waiting on a solid release date tho.
>Inb4 same fucking day as Yooka Laylee

hell yeah motherfucker

Its so reminiscent of DKC, it only makes sense that David Wise is composing

With Mario Odyssey coming up too, I feel like its the next coming of the golden age

Depends on the price. No way I could ever pay 80 canuckdollars for this, but if it's actually a really fun game and 20-30 with a decent amount of content I would pick it up.

>was already looking forward to this game
>turns out it's gonna be on switch AND has my favorite composer doing the music

>Sumo Digital and David Wise
hell yeah I'm in

Damn this game looks rareware as fuck.

After these threads being posted for the past few days, I decided to check this out and it looks really fun and comfy, definitely looking forward to this on Switch.

This looks absolutely fucking comfy to play tucked in, in bed.

what kind of puzzles do you think well see?

Probably stuff like:
>Find the 3 magic stones
>Push the button
>Turn the crank
>Snake-based Pachinko with you as the slithery ball

can't tell if this game is getting honest discussion the past few days or if it's being shilled

A mixture of the two. I try to actually discuss it, there's definitely at least a little shilling mixed in.

Not much to discuss tho.

It was announced for the Switch a few days ago

immediately thought of snake rattle n roll and after some research apparently it was influenced by it, though looks much slower and not like a platformer

What has David Wise been doing for the past few decades? He had some fucking amazing shit early on (DKC 1-2, Battletoads, Wizards and Warriors, ect), but later Rare all people talk about is Kirkhope.

But can you eat your own tail?

Here's most of it
>did Project Dream for a bit before that was handed over solely to Kirkhope
>Diddy Kong Racing
>Dinosaur Planet/Star Fox Adventures
>created a new soundtrack for DKC3 GBA
>Viva Pinata DS and Diddy Kong Racing DS
>kind of fucked off for a bit
>Tengami and Tropical Freeze
>currently working on Yooka-Laylee and Snake Pass

He did the ost for the DKC3 and DKRDS remakes.
Also iirc he did Star Fox Adventures music.
Kirkhope is more popular because he did almost every ost for the rare n64 games and healso starred in a Game Grumps episode.

Here's the clips they've released

He did Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, which I think not only outshines the OSTs of the other DKC games, but is my personal favourite video game soundtrack ever.

It is pretty slow, and I'm wondering how they'll keep the game interesting since there's seemingly no real enemies.
