That's what I'm doing this week. I've read about it and it's extremely easy, the only annoying part is having to buy a DS game on the eshop to bypass a signature check and be able to run everything - you don't have to do it if you just want to play Wii U games that have been released in disc though.
You literally just copy some files to the sd card and enter a website.
