Howdy Sup Forums, my name is Kenichi Smith.

I'm a 27 year old Japanese Toonaholic (Cartoon fan for you foreigners). I draw cartoons and comics on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior American games. (Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty)

I train with my 1911 every day, this superior weapon can shoot straight through steel because it kicks ass, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my gun license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.

I speak English fluently, both the Midwestern and the East Coast accents, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about American history and their Constitution, which I follow 100%

When I get my American visa, I am moving to New York to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Nickelodeon or a game designer!

I own several cowboy outfits, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to America, so I can fit in easier. I keep cool to my elders and seniors and speak English as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.

Hideyoshi brutally raped Ginchiyo when Muneshige was out doing war things so badly that it rendered her infertile and is contributing to her "failing health." Muneshige knows this, but continues serving Hideyoshi (and later, his memory) out of honor and obligation. The wind blows. It is 7 in the morning, Ken-sama woke up to the cold morning. He got up, and went to the bathroom to wash his face. Ken-sama live in a traditional Japanese house, he only rent a room though. The old couple is nice enough to let him stay in their house. Ken-sama grepped his kimono and wear it like a proper nihonjin, he walk to a window and smell the fresh nihonjin morning. “Ah, konbanwa anatas. What beautiful morning desu.” Ken-sama zoned out looking at the beach from his room. Ken-sama went downstairs to greet the old couple. “Ah, ohayou ojisan and obasan”. The old couple replied him with a warm smile and proceed with their breakfast while inviting Ken-sama. Although Ken-sama can not understand them, he easily could read what the old couple is trying to say, he is born with this talent. “Arigato.” Ken-sama said, he then went upstairs to take a few things. He took a bokken and a katana, the katana is hidden in his kimono and the bokken is on his obi, this is to avoid being arrested by authorities as he was warned last time. Ken-sama will be going on his usual morning walk to sightseeing the glorious nihonjin country. “Itadakimasu obasan and ojisan”, they gave him a mixed smile and a slightly confused expression.

Bonus: you get to fight them on tiny high cliffs and walkways above poisonous pit with archers.

Stay in place!” The kids couldn’t understand what he was saying, he gestured what he was trying to say, he ordered the kids to stay in the middle of the park as it is too dangerous. But that was Ken-sama’s mistake, he look at the beach from afar. It was huge, a tsunami is coming. Ken-sama widened his eyes and look at the children and yelled every Japanese word he knew “Arigatou gozaimasu! Gomenasai! Run away minna-san!” The children ran away, the wave is coming, it was at least 100ft tall. Ken-sama was ashamed with himself, he should have anticipated this, if he did the children would be far away by now. “sumimasen mina-san, it was my mistake”, he took his hidden katana and dual wield with the bokken and katana. As he ran towards the tsunami trying to stop it, he uttered his last words. “Arigatou obasan, ojisan. For taking care of me” The wave rise even higher. A shout is heard; “Nippon banzai!”.

Hideyoshi was their lord. They are required to serve him, no matter what.

The reason why Mitsuhide Akechi and Hisahide Matsunaga are so reviled in this game is because they committed the cardinal sin of betraying their lord. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are, to the samurai, you don't go against your lord. If he demands you kill yourself, you are supposed to kill yourself. If he tells you to bend over and bite the pillow, you are socially required to do so.

It's not about individual honor. It's about your lord's.

So when you kill a revenant, does it drop the exact same gear as the person had, perks and all? Or is it just another version of the same in that particular set?

That twist at the rewards screen of the mission where you help her find a gift was when everything clicked for me. The "don't tell anyone about the rape because it would fuck everything up" part was pretty obvious, of course, but her being infertile and actually wanting him to keep fucking the mistress for the sake of a kid fell into place after that.

Because doing so would've sent the entire country into chaos. Not to mention protecting him was their sworn duty.

I once got an epic sword with no bonus attributes as if the guy stripped them from it so I assume the former.

The former I think. I got this 1kat from a guy with less armor bonus damage on it and he was naked.

Earth makes Ki recharge rate slower, and I think wind is just another DoT.

I'm pretty sure its the exact same gear people are wearing because at level 100 I'm killing red demon faggots and getting level 60 gear

Wind reduces attack.
I reckon earth and water reduce defense and ki regen respectively but I haven't seen any enemies with that element yet.

that's only is if they can kill your revenant which if its level 60 while the guy is level 10 is gonna two shot him

Is it really that game-breaking? I always avoided it in Souls to keep the challenge up.

Nobunaga just wanting to spar with William then fucking off because the country is heading in the direction he wanted anyways was the best. Even him taking a shot a entertaining the idea of being nippon Jesus but finding it worthless if things can't be destroyed was amusing. Then him telling Edward to fuck off forcing Kelley to summon Orochi made this a 10/10 Nobunaga.

The way I cheesed this horribly designed fight was baiting the hand attacks while on mid ground and quickly running up the platform to the highest level as he charged them. None of the mid-targetted attacks (hand swat, full swipe, etc) will be able to damage you while on the highest level and now you can just drop down and go ham on hands.

I actually really liked Mitsuhide in Nioh though. That was probably the biggest surprise in the game for me.

IMO it's a pretty solid action game if that's what you're looking for but a lot of is typical Sony Exclusive hype. Once the buzz switches over completely to Horizon it'll still get some talk and maybe even some acknowledgement at the end of the year but it's hardly ground breaking. It's literally just been in development for 10 years and finally coming out now and despite constant attempts to compare it to Dark Souls (which is not the absolute pinnacle of all that is gaming IMO) which it largely predates has more in common with a Ninja Gaiden style game we haven't had in a while.

The only character I'm not really a fan of is Yoshimoto Imagawa, but his entire gimmick was being so incompetent that Oda deemed him unworthy of his status, anyway.

When does Teahouse unlock? I'm trying to figure out who to side with, but I'm not familiar with Japanese history and so far the story is kind of confusing me. About to set sail from the first map and I've met Muneshige, who appears to be an important lord serving someone, Kanbei, whose clan seems to be serving the same, and Hanzo Hattori, who's introducing me to these people. None of this seems to have anything to do with Kelly though.

The boss design in this game is broken. When the first two bosses are more broken and hard than Orphan and Manus then you know that the design is flawed.

I've done SL1 runs of every souls game, done No death/bonfire runs in DS2 and I've finished each game multiple times.
I think I know what I'm talking about pretty damn well with this stuff. Something isn't right with the design of these bosses.

Have you considered that the game is different from souls games and you're probably playing it exactly like it's a souls game?

You're playing Nioh like if it was a Souls game and not how it's supposed to be played, learn how to do the ki pulses and flux your stances.
