Breath of the Wild

Where's the first place you're going after the Great Plateau?

The desert or Lake Hylia.
You don't need special clothes to survive the desert heat like you need for the freezing mountains, right?

probably just wander about and see where my path takes me

West. Don't know why or what's there. Just gonna do it.

Probably just have to wear lighter clothes. Otherwise I don't see why the temp gauge goes both directions.

I'm planning on turning off all maps and just wandering

Where ever the stupid kill-collect-return quests take me.

Who's going to the beach?

Straight to ganon

Me, motherfucker.

I will climb that mountain. I will descend to that beach. I will sail to that island.

Either to the castle, or trying to scale Death Mountain/see what's in Spectacle Rock without being killed by that enormous Guardian.

I want to climb Death Mountain as soon as I can, I will most likely die because of the heat though.

It has those?
I haven't seen any gameplay of that.

>You can go anywhere
>But there's no reason to

Probably just the main plot to see if Calamity Ganon is half as interesting towards the end as he is in that one 2 second clip.

He won't be

Too few quests for them to do this desu. There's

Is it confirmed that we'll need different clothing to survive various environments?

I'm going to the ranch behind the plateau and then headed to the Twin Peaks.

I promised myself in 2014 I would head to the Twin Peaks first. You just know there's gonna be dope shit all over those sexy lumps.

Hyrule Castle which then will probably lead you along the natural story path to settlements and flashbacks

I don't know. Normally I try to do every optional thing that's possible before proceeding with the main quest. Then I proceed with the main quest, advancing the story a little until I reach a new area, and then explore everything in that area before moving on with the story.

But if the game is already open world then I might just go where the game suggests that I go, because otherwise I'll explore the entire map before doing anything related to the main story.

>sees mountain
>sees another mountain
>mountains everywhere

>no reason to

You can go to the dungeons in any order and the journey to one of them should take you through a good chunk of the map. It might be open world but it's still a Zelda game.

...To the store to return this piece of shit.

how can someone wish for a tortanic this much?

Probably just make a bee-line.

Gonna be pretty annoying having to gather arbitrary resources all the time. I get the idea of going for "Survival" elements, but it only works in "Survival" games and even then it rarely works.

Case in point with NMS. Played up like a Survival/Exploration, but the Survival is literally just farm reds outside of any planet, and if you somehow run out of fuel don't despair, every planet surface is riddled with it.

That's the vibe I get from these Food/Weapon Durability mechanics. Also the world looks about as interesting as the gorillion planets in NMS.

Still, I'm leaving a little room for optimism. Hopefully the OST continues with the original tracks and not Koji remixes.

Hey man, I was excited at E3 2014. It's all been downhill from there.

So far is only confirmed that you need warm clothes to be on cold areas, but you can also eat some foods that give cold resistance. So maybe instead of needing a fire resitant armor to be near magma you will have to discover a drink that gives you that buff, who knows.
