i have a tough time breaking through the 4200 zone in arena, any particular tips?

the issue i have mostly is that if the battle gets drawn out and im unable to 1 shot every thing on the field within the first 2-3 turns, i am forced to sacrifice a unit, sometimes 2, in order to win because most of my characters can survive 2 exchanges at most so by the time the enemy takumeme has vengeance im forced to sacrifice a guy

also it seems to me like the meta has shifted pretty dynamically, its no longer as red dominant and people are using far more blues now because blues inherently has less counters in the meta besides maybe camilla who is zoned away by takumeme, hector which can be kited, and merric which is underused, and literally no one uses fae. im starting to see tons more effie, azura, and nowi, all of which are a pain to deal with.a pretty strong comp seems to be something like takumeme, nowi/effie/azura/,lucina, and hector

Her murdering schtick which runs completely against most of the other characters you fight with in Nohr (not to mention being Xander's PERSONAL retainer), this is the same guy who personally arrests Hans for being a murderer but lets Peri gloat about mercilessly killing maids and butlers. Gameplay wise? Trash stat growth for a melee unit.

Even when my Mozu gained some combination of Str, Def, and Spd in most of her level ups, I found that she never really excelled in a particular stat like other units.

No it isn't, Takumi is one of the strongest units in Fates and Niles is also very strong in Conquest. Magic is damn near useless in Conquest outside of magical weapons or turning Nyx or Ophelia into a Witch.

i used tiki to lure some of them out then kept her hp full with sakura, narcian flew into the mountains then takumi instakilled him, then i just waited for the enemy AI to flood through the left side and picked them off one by one

once you get through the initial exchange its not too hard since you can move units around and send the counters ahead first, but you need a a guy that can survive the archer+ the red sword for 1 turn.

I tried using Niles early on but he got ridiculously stat screwed to the point of uselessness and ditched him.

Takumi is broken by default because character locked legendary weapons in Fates were all disgusting; I'll count him in the small pile of "actually good bow users in FE games" regardless.

Well Heroes has far fewer archers than mages to start with. Takumi is better than any mage though and Jorge is also rather strong. Actually I think there's only 4 archers right now, Takumi, Jorge, Gordin, and Setsuna. Not sure how good Gordin is.
