What did they mean by this?
What did they mean by this?
They thought they could get it done fast but they were wrong
I'm alright with delays if the product is unfinished but don't jump the gun and start promising release dates early on, that's just tacky
So how good is P5? After like November no one talks about it outside of the occasional waifu thread
feels like no one played it for some reason
Reminder P5 is released in just 3 da- oh wait.
When ATLUS was bought by SEGA lots of shit went down.
New execs
New programmers
New translators
New everything
But the neets they hired with basic japanese knowledge from low tier shit like Rosetta Stone and fucks everything up from top to bottom and the demo was widely panned as shit they had to rebuild the game.
Oh then lets take a brand new incompetent USA team and translate it with google and make some things sound off and hire people off the street for the dub.
And then finding a horde of college educated people who wants to work for minimum wage was another task.
Long story short, EO5 never
We need it in English first.
Yeah its almost as if it hasn't released yet. Huh.
...
It's great. Easily the best game in the series, it's not even close.
Plenty of gameplay/level design to make a decision, ontop of importers here.
You are vastly overestimating just how many even know Japanese, let alone import.
It's good but lots of user here claim they played the game and spread false information to kill the hype.
I mean Sup Forums seriously believe you can't romance Ann for 2 full weeks because some cuckNTR poster
Fucking great. Loved the cast, the story was fantastic and way more well written than I'd come to expect from a P-Studio game, and the gameplay went from being mediocre copy paste hallways to being a top tier JRPG with some of the most varied and interesting dungeons I've seen in a game, and the boss fights are fucking great. They do a much better job at integrating the daily life and gameplay stuff I feel, it didn't feel as segregated and neither element felt tacked on.
I left Sup Forums back in September to stay unspoiled, and didn't come back until after I beat the game, so I've only heard snippets of the misinformation that was going around, but holy shit that is laughable. I mean how did nobody point out that Kamoshida didn't even touch Anne, or that she had a perfectly normal co-op following his reform?
Sega will probably also mandate Persona 6 be made with PC in mind.
Sup Forums 's NTR/Cuckhold fetish gets a lot of traction here.
Investors breathing down our necks lets promise a date to get them off our backs
why is joker yellow
>PS4 version not 60fps
Why do Japanese devs hate 60fps? I know it's a turn based RPG so it doesn't matter, but still pretty lazy.
fuck you user
Because the game's animations are hand made at 24fps (23.86 to be precise) because they had anime animators work on them.
This game would be out next week if Atlus wasn't so incompetent.
>implying
Reviewers have the game now. It's not even delayed because they needed it to be, they just wanted it to release in the 2017 fiscal year instead of 2016's since they were already in the green.
Wow so it runs at 24fps?
So this is
the power
of Japanese game development
No it runs at 30. The animations are done at 24, and it's likely capped at 30 because they felt (a likely inconsistent) 60 would mesh poorly with their animations.
Also
>needing a high framerate when the game is turnbased

>Wow so it runs at 24fps?
Jesus you are dense. Animations =/= the whole game.
The animations in P5 are done frame by frame, which is part of why the game's CG cutscenes look so fucking good. Having the game "run" at 60 wouldn't change that and characters would still be animated at 24fps, even the UI is animated at 24fps, so all that would look smoother is the camera panning and shaking - plus some less important animations that were done with tweens rather than frame by frame. It's capped at 30fps because it would look worse to have the animations meshing like that. They chose based on the PS3, which was their initial target platform and picking to make the most of 30fps was a smart decision - on PS4 they simply ported the game, but decided against increasing the framerate since it wasn't designed for it and for the reasons I stated above would look arguably worse, and objectively less consistent.
Take your framerate shitposting to a game that actually suffers from having a lower framerate, not a turn based JRPG with an artstyle emulating anime.
