You know, I normally like puzzle games but these sorts of things legitimately horrify me. It's like the difference between a normal roguelike and Dwarf Fortress.

The hours of struggle is worth the euphoria flooding your brain as you watch your solution simply working.

As much as I love Zachtronics, I don't think I'm ever going to go back to Spacechem. The space limitations and collisions are just such a nightmare.
...
Spacechem isn't that bad. It looks more intimidating than it is up until like world 5, then it actually gets brutal. Still fun to play until you can't figure it out anymore, though.
I just wish there was an option to show atomic numbers instead of the the element letters so you didn't have to keep looking at a chart.

flim13 if anyone asks
Spacechem is babby's first Zachtronics.
Check TIS-100 if you want real autism.

Top tier puzzle game incoming.
TIS and Shenzhen are way easier than Spacechem.
>when she tells you to take care using explosives
that was satisfying
>webm of a shitty star puzzle
>involving the shitty time manipulation mechanic no less
Talos is a wonderful game, but most of the star puzzles and all of the time manipulation puzzles are shit.
I can partly agree on the time manipulation puzzles, but the stars were one of the most interesting things to figure out.
this looks so gay
A good puzzle is based on mechanics, a bad puzzle is based on reading the designer's mind. Almost all of the stars were "read my mind" puzzles. There were a few that were decent, most weren't.
I found TIS to be harder than Spacechem, Maybe because the documentation is hideous and I didn't knew asm or any programming concept when I was playing it.
I finally got 100%, but having to spend a week thinking about how to solve a puzzle and then finding out that a savant solved it in 300 cycles while using 3 nodes was pure pain.
I think most of the star puzzles implemented the regular mechanics and took them to a level beyond. The bad ones are certainly in the minority, such as the clock puzzle, and the ones activated with switches. The one hidden in a tree comes to mind as well.

Being the best Rally sim next to RBR is not really a disapointment
This is what happens when you fill your company with minorities and women
