I live near Fort Wayne, IN and my grandpa used to be a prison guard. He had all kinds of interesting stories.

I don't ever want to go to prison, because according to what he heard from some of the other guards in the more heavily locked down areas it really is the rape dungeon "don't drop the soap bitch" stories you've heard.

Basically it sounds like an adult daycare where you can get raped or shived. Also there was a pedophile who had to be put all by himself away from everyone else because the inmates with daughters would kick the shit out of him every time they crossed paths.

The number of prisons I've been to doesn't mean much. It was all for one conviction, I just moved around a lot as I went from max security to low security. Never been back since then.

Been to rikers island in NYC. Someone was able to sneak in a PS2 slim /w fight night (typical) ghetto shit. I'd usually lean on the wall just outside the doorway to the guy's cell and secretly watch them play. They played it on this one dude's TV, he got in because he was being good or whatever, IDK. But doing something like that would literally earn you a few extra years. It was pretty funny watching them play though. All they would do was they "haymaker" move and nothing else until one of the boxers were K.O'd. Then they'd boast about how skilled they were at the game, etc.. lol, memorable times.......

I did a year in a medium security prison in Colorado two years ago. Everyday we got to go to the gym for two hours. You could work out, play basketball, and they had 4 Xbox 360s with about 10 games to choose from.

No vidya but lots of books, board games, and under the sheet hand jobs. Most guys bet trays on basketball or football games, either on TV or during rec time. About once a year we find a cellphone during shakedown.
