Is there a difficulty option for nioh

i never cared about souls games or blood born. I interested in the setting, story, bosses and rpg elements in nioh. I don't want to drop a full $60 on a game that will be impossible to play at my skill level, so is there a easy mode or beginner friendly mode? I don't have time to die 50 times in a row just to "git gud".

Just watch a playthrough on youtube and read the wiki if all you care about is the the setting and story then. If you're interested in a game but not enough to play it yourself, just fucking do that.

No need to try act superior user. Every game a difficulty options from very easy, easy, normal, hard , critical/very hard and impossible mode. I don't listen to gaming journalist or you tube e'celebs so i don't know what your trying to imply.

This isn't about the difficulty, this is just about basic logic. if you're interested in something, but don't want to play it yourself, just watch it or read about it.

Just like in every rpg ever, you can overlever yourself quite easily. Otherwise the game is just about remembering mechanics.

what does "basic logic" have to do with trying to enjoy a game on a difficulty setting/mode that i would be comfortable playing with. sigh i'll just skip it since its clearly not for someone like me.

Wjat do you expect in lower difficulties? Less hp per enemy? Per boss? Higher hp for player character? Less movesets per ebemy/boss?

The allure for most players is not only triumphing over an enemy, its in learning mechanics, understanding movesets and exploiting weaknesses that were before unnoyiced. An easier difficulty would not only undermine this asset of the game but split the playerbase among difficulty levels and water down the combat for those who chose not to learn. Why would you play a combat based game if you dont want to understand the combat? Would you choose to play a game where gun combat is the primary aspect, while not knoeing how to reload or peek corners?

every game that has difficulty setting alter the hp count, enemy count, move sets and damage take. Even the wonderful 101 and god hand did this. How am suppose to learn anything if i die within two or three hits form an enemy AI. It looks like Koei Tecmo were clearly interested in grabing soulsborn crowd judging by the way they designed the game. no longer interested anymore. I hope they don't ruin ninja gaiden franchise with this kinda of bullshit.

Nioh needs to be harder, if you take a second to learn the more advanced sub systems you are able to face roll even the hardest content in the game
