Recommendation. Ditch the uncharted games. TLOU perfected their formula and has additional gameplay elements not present in the UC games. pick up bloodborne instead. Until Dawn is presumably fine. I haven't played it but It will likely play differently from TLOU and most certainly be different than bloodborne, so you at least have 3 games with 3 different play types, instead of 4 games that play the same and one walking simulator.

According to PSprices it was going for $10 in December. I got a Pro on Black Friday so I was constantly browsing the store around that period looking for good deals, but apparently I forgot that one.

I heard it had some unique mechanics or something. I don't expect it to be great or anything, just something different. I've had a real itch for novel experiences lately, even if they're not super-polished.

I think they did a good job with how they handled them in the story. Enough to make it at least plausible in that universe.

They are. Uncharted 4 is boring as fuck. The story isn't as charming. The gameplay isn't improved at all.

You haven't played Gravity Rush. It plays nothing like Infamous. It's also way better than Infamous. Although Infamous 1 was pretty fun.

Infamous 1/2 has superior combat variety that's has more options than air kicks and gravity projectiles. Cohesive and satisfying plot and a morality system that encourages multiple playthrough. New Orleans is LOAT.

Honestly it could've worked if Rafe was an actual villain. As it is he was woefully underdeveloped and most of what you learn about him is secondhand, i.e. random NPC conversations. The plot seemed really disjointed/nonsensical and leads me to believe that it was pretty much completely retooled after the fallout with Hennig.

GR2 isn't perfect but with a bigger world, more things to do and more styles to dick around in it's closer to the game I wanted to see for sure. I still think there's a lot of potential in an open world where you play as someone with free control of gravity.

infamous you can find for dirt fucking cheap. worth one playthrough. GRR is still going for about 30 bucks. Oddly enough, they're both open world games with super hero powers, so you can go with one that takes a realistic approach or an anime approach. You could just get both. Infamous should be like, 10 bucks at gamestop.

Second Son is a pretty fun romp but it's over quickly and if you try to draw it out by doing every side mission(which doesn't even extend the game THAT much) it's easy to get burnt out. It also doesn't have much replayability for the same reason. I think people had unreasonable expectations for it, plus it's easy to hate since the protagonist is kind of a fag.
