In there the loading was masked as "stabilizing the pressure" on the next room.
It was a pretty cool addition imo.

Literally the only right answer so far.
It's not enough to say that a game has "a very short" loading screen because the unimaginably-powerful-at-the-time-of-development-cpu can tear through the 32 megs or whatever in a split second.
