I've tried it a few times and I really didn't like it. I put 330+ hours on source but it plays really different, plus most of the people you play with are pure cancer.

Not really. The gameplay is still way deeper and teamwork matters above all else. I've been playing cs on and off since the betas in 1999 and csgo is probably the worst iteration. There's a lot of 1.6 in there, more than source but it's held back by it's game modes and systems. Weapon skins are dumb, competitive is lacking and there is no unranked fun to be had. Custom servers are there, but they don't offer as much as the old games. Not enough custom content.

It does get better as you get better. Once you get out of silver and start playing with people that know how to help each other instead of frag hunting. Then again, a lot of matches still has you steamrolling the other team or vice versa.

Skins are just bragging rights, they don't give any edge over stock weapons. The main shortcoming that CS always had was its community of mouthbreathing tards. Anyway, I just play casual and deathmatch, competitive is cancerous garbage full of assholes and children.

I have put 700 hours into the game and I can tell you it is total shit.

CS always has been shit.

It's RNG trash. People that pretend to play think it isn't, but everyone who does at a competent level knows this.

I disagree. It's one of my favorite games ever, and the only game I play regularly anymore. I've put in around 1000 hours so far, and don't intend on stopping.

GO is probably the best cs in terms of balance and maps. The real problem is the horrible community where everyone tries their best to be a giant cunt. The interface and menus are also little retarded sometimes. I guess it's the best CS since the community has always been shit.

I don't feel like the CSGO community is especially cunt-y. Yeah, you'll sometimes have salty people, but everyone generally tries their best all the time, even if they're hurling insults.

The only people I can't stand are the Brits, who tend not to be as outright toxic, but will go out of their way to ruin the game for the rest of their team, while being passive aggressive about it.

I'm a brit, and I can't stand brits either. Whiney, cheat-accusing, shit at the game, rager dick heads.
I only use my mic for callouts and saying "good job".

The most annoying are the fucking turks with their dumbass flags on their avatars always yelling in chat in their non-sensical language.
