Trophies/Achievements Thread

Working on something Sup Forums?

Nope, I'm sadly not autistic.

>Good job Sup Forums! You autistically 100% that game! Have a digital gold star

One of my goal is to get the platinum of Star Ocean: The Last Hope. The hardest part will be the characters' combat trophies, but i'm optimistic.

I was wondering do the PS4 versions of RE5 have co-op multiplayer available or nah? If so, anybody wanna play and platinum RE5 and RE6?

>tfw no friends to play with

I'm also going to eventually to platinum the Bioshock and Uncharted collection, along with the GTA trilogy.

Blood and Wine trophies. I have two left, but first I wanted to clear some missing quests and points of interest.

I'm neither patient nor skilled enough to Plat all my games, but I try if it seems possible.

Working on Titanfall 2 right now, but I have a backlog of like sixty games or something, mny of which I'll never be able to do.
Like Max Payne 3.

I usually give absolutely 0 fucks about achievements because it's mainly autism, but I'm so bored lately that I've decided to try to see if I can Perfect a few of my Steam games, already had 1 without realizing it.

Hopelessly getting as close to it as possible in AC Unity since it has co-op trophies and I'm not paying for that

Finally got the Overwatch platinum.

>not skilled enough
You'd be surprised how little skill can actually matter sometimes outside of making things go faster
I got the Platinum for DMC3 and I utterly suck at it

>trying to plat a game with missable trophies

Why is it the hardest part? Also isn't Star Ocean that game with that little girl that says "m'kay"?

Some of them require the characters dealing very speific amount of damages for example.
The worst one is to have a character giving the final blow to a specific boss type that respawns only by defeating a very hard superboss.
Multiple times.
Enjoy.

>games has online trophies
>servers were shutdown

Working on Vita plats, recently got Danganronpa Another Episode plat and Digimon Cyber Sleuth, going for Tales of Hearts R.

Wanted to plat Senran Kagura but I suck at it and can't beat Yomis song on normal without missing a note.

Yeah, I got that one too (though DMC is one of the few games I'm kinda decent at). But I don't see Max Payne 3 happening. That New York Minute Hardcore is fucking insane.

I'll think I'll give RE7 a try next, that seems doable.

I just bought Nioh. Any missables?
Trophies look pretty easy on this game

Ratchet & Clank & Far Cry 4

close to platinuming Sleeping Dogs DA

any of you plat this game yet ?

Working on TLOU and FFXV then probably VII

I can't help but wonder, are AC Brotherhood's PS3 servers still up? Getting to level 50 and all the bonuses were the only things I lacked

>miss most of the missable trophies on my first playthrough even if it means an extra playthrough, so that my trophy history looks "legit"
Get on my level of autism, nerds.

Nothing at the moment. Just got the platinum trophy for Tales of Hearts R last week, though.

I might shoot for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's platinum trophy since I'm close to it, but I'm not sure if I want to put myself through the Breach mode.

FFXV was suprisingly easy to platinum. There's a fuckton of content remaining after acquiring every trophy.

>Yakuza 0 plat

DeS Plat... Fuck pureblade stone

>get every trophy for a game except one
>it's the "Complete Training" one

I love how silly it is when it happens

>tfw there will be people for which the Pure Bladestone never dropped

The sad part is that God of War: Ascension can end up exactly that since the training trophy is related to the multiplayer section, wich can only be accessed if you bought/unlocked the multiplayer pass. Jewish as fuck.

Working on the Skyrim remaster before reactivating all my old mods for a new character. Life keeps getting in the fucking way though.

Made it to the chest doing the Ultra Hard challenge in Isaac and died, gonna need a few hours before I'm not angry and can try again

currently working on Valkyrie Drive platinum.
it's pretty basic for the most part but the grind for 5mil is insane

Im 1 trophy away from getting a plat in Madden 16.

Playing that game so much has made me see the light to never buy another Madden game again. Im just way to close to getting a plat to stop.

I want to kill myself

>want the Gravity Rush 2 plat
>want to do it with absolutely zero help from a guide
>mfw those two paintings in Jirga with really vague descriptions

>top 300 of my country
>Spend time on plats that take a long time (Stardew, Berseria)
>rank slowly going to shit

I'm glad I'm not autistic enough to care. I just focus on raising my completion % and I only play games I care about

Trying to Plat Littlebigplanet 2 but last trophy is "Have 50 different people play your level"

End me.

Yeah, trying to get plat in Stardew or at least something other than My Name is Mayo. That's my only plat right now. :(

maybe just ask people on PSNProfile forums of the game to play it

Is it hard/grindy?

Gonna start playing monday. Any missables? Don't want to look at guides to avoid spoilers

We'll help you. Tell us what your level is.

This.

Never understood how people fell hook line and sinker for such blatantly artificial rewards

Since I started playing Neptunia with RB1, I've been trying to get all of the trophies in each game, I have no idea why. Fuck the billion credits trophies though, I'll leave the games at 98% complete.

go to playstationtrophiesdotorg

people have dedicated threads for level boosting in LBP

try it, I got mine from the vita LBP and that one was much harder because no one owned a vita back then

Recently got the platinum for both RE7 and Watch Dogs 2.

Currently deciding whether to go back through Rise of the Tomb Raider to the rest of the expedition mode trophies for platinum, or start Bloodborne.

Because every reward in a video game is, by definition, artificial. So how is it any different than any other reward in a game?

>complete the main story dungeon of Shiren the Wanderer on PSV
>5% of trophies obtained

Fuck you kill yourself that's why

It's fun and it helps with replayability.

I even spend less money on games now because I focus on one game to tge fullest instead of buying a ton of them and dtopping them halfway through

This.

The whole point of games is working towards that sense of accomplishment, this is just another was of doing that. Plus it gives for more of a definitive way to known that you've done everything you can in the game and got your moneys worth.

Kingdom hearts 2 FM
easier than KH1 by leaps and bounds but the datafights with XIII and mushrooms will probably fuck me up

...

Are you able to share play for coop? Or do I have to own the game?

every fucking thread

> Online trophies

I'm pretty sure you'd have to own the game, but I guess we can google it and check.

>125+ hours

Oh fuck me. I won't be able to do it before college starts again

Playing a game from start to finish, doing all the levels, missions or dungeons, and then beating a final boss is a complete experience that, to a lot of people I'd guess, has some meaning to it. It's a lot different to just going aroudn ticking arbitrarily selected boxes chosen by the devs to keep certain types busy

> Chaining trophies

Beat the story trophy (easy)
Beat the story trophy (medium)
Beat the story trophy (hard)
Beat the game 100% trophy
P-P-P-P-PLATNIUM

Trying so hard to get the 100 Online Plays trophy in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3....a dead game.

Killzone 2s online trophies give me nightmares to this day

They aren't that bad just take your time and don't focus on mashing X. That's the easiest way to get rekt

See if ahyone else is also currently llaying the game and pm them. It works.

I'm on this boat too, currently at 100% completition list. Keeping Mahjong for the last.

Finishing up a second playthrough of Bioshock 1 on PS4, missed a few trophies, but playing it on Survivor with no vita chambers gave me quite a lot of them.

You need 100% completion in absolutely everything, including all those Japanese casino games like Mahjong and Shogi that I'm dreading to do

I've been trying, I've run into some people trying to do the same thing...but they've all been Japanese and won't respond.

This. Fuck anyone who thinks this is ok

please god make it stop

>online trophies

I hate when developers put that shit in the game. I mean if it's something easy like "reach level 10" or something like that then it's not as bad, but "REACH MAX LEVEL OR STATS" "ACQUIRE RANK 5,000" when eventually all multiplayer games die, is just bullshit because then you have an obtainable fucking platinum or trophy. It's just bullshit sometimes.

>not just using Googl translate to talk to the dumb gooks

Get it done user.

>Plat bloodborne
>Feeling great because recently i bought Yakuza 0 and now i can play it at free will
>Went to the shogi parlor

This game was made for sadistic people, Plat this will take me atleast a month without getting mad

That's cool. I've played the 360 version in RE5 but never played RE6. You're playing on the PS4 right? Send an invite and we can play sometime.

ID: Marked_Gambit

has anyone ever managed to platinum demons souls?

Achievements are shit man, they work against you in every way.

-They lock you into a system (no way in hell your buying the PC version when you can’t get your gamer score up)
-They allow cheap games undeserved sales by appealing to the “cheevo culture”
-They encourage developers to bloat out a game with “optional” content instead of just fully committing to an idea (valuecucks love this)
-Force you to harass your friends regarding a game to get the “share” and “co op” achievements
-Ruin multiplayer with “boost lobbies”

And many more.

But at least your e-dick gets bigger because you wasted more money on rentals and followed more youtube collectible guides than others so I mean goodjob you have fully demonstrated your gaming prowess and I am in awe.

>missables
>need guide to catch everything
>long ass JRPG

I have seriously never finished FFX for these reasons

>a no encounter weapon, as an equipment drop from Geosgaeno.
>a magic counter buckler, from the hovercraft merchant in the Calm Lands.
>the 0-Slotted Longsword can't be bought after a certain point.
>Master Spheres are limited in quantity.
>the four Al Bhed Primers from 19 till 22 are (technically) missable
Those are the only missable items in the game
Unless you meant dark aeons blocking you from getting collectables

I paid $5 for the Ratchet and Clank trilogy on PS3 and think they have good platinums.

Granted I eventually resorted to a guide for collectibles (rub your stomach and pat your head while killing a boss, etc), the plats are on average 20-25 hours so the games don't overstay their welcome. Also R&C's are generally good, although there are a few notably shitty ones (collecting 100 items on a huge map, twice).

>KH 2.8

I've already 100%'d 0.2 but I'm not even sure I want to replay KHDDD after slogging through the 3DS version

So, what you're saying is that these things are completely optional?

>silver at the center
>gold behind silver
every time

>finish the entire game in online co-op

Every Yakuza game for me

>going through every challenge
>find one minigame that's too fucking hard

It's usualy baseball for me

weeding out the shitters from plats

>Press X when Kiryu stop swinging the bat
It's just a QTE chain test

I might go for Persona 4 gilden plat since i got the hardest ttophy by aciddent. I might try going for soul sacrifice as well if i manage to find some one else to play the game with me.

I heard the last boss challenge is really tough.

Overwatch. But I'll never get it because of this surreal, impossible, pointless piece of shit of a trophy.

>while holding the thumbstick at a precise angle so you hit the one pixel with 4 boards at once
>repeat 15 times in a row

>tfw 100% Titanfall

Got proper sweaty when I knew the "kill all pilots before they evacuate" was within my reach after killing the 4th guy.

git gud

>beat game on normal difficulty
>decide to go for plat
>there are no difficulty trophies
What do you do? Crank it up and bleed yourself dry or coast on easy?

I'd hardly say you suck at DMC3 if you were able to beat DMD.

I have that one and I'm on Xbone, I've come so close to getting the Zenyatta one a couple times as well but stopped playing a couple months ago

Depends on how much I enjoy the game. If the gameplay is good I'll crank it up without a doubt

>tfw Got all the Gummi Ship missions, bosses, Time Trials and Synthesis of KHFM in Proud/Critical

that's what boosting is for

First post, best post, like always, only degenerates care about trophies.

Having so many items and Jump Cancelling all over the place go a long way

Legit compared to who or what? Nobody cares if you used a trophy guide user

Yakuza 3 and Kingdom Spats: Ground Zeroes.

Don't think I'll ever get done with Yakuza 3 though and I really want to give 5 and 0 a shot. I could just skip right on to 0, couldn't I?

Also Driver: San Fransisco I just have the multiplayer shit left but it's a pain in the arse because there's no one playing ever but when you set up a boosting session all these randoms suddenly join at the worst moments and fuck everything up.

Also Tales of Xillia 2 I've nearly done with all the "Do X 450 times" (fuck you Namco) trophies but still have god knows how long left on that. I was trying to do Gravity Rush 2 but the photo collectibles shat themselves, deleted from my collection and now I can't do them again or take new ones even though they're in my general photo list. Has this happened to anyone else?

Xillia 2 is nothing compared to Graces F, I guarantee you.

sometimes i want to but then realize it's not worth the trouble

Of course people have. Pure bladestone may be a bitch, but it's not impossible. I'm still trying to get it, but no luck after 4 hours.
