The first game was much harder, how did they fuck it up this badly?
Why is this game so fucking easy?
>a game being easy=game being bad
Epic
Oh fuck off. The first game isn't good.
no it's great
>obvious dated Controls
>meh level design
>flat weapons
People like you need to take the nostalgia goggles off and realize that RC1 isn't good. The ps4 remake is better
...
objective list:
3 > a crack in time > weapons of destruction > 2 > 1 > deadlocked > size matters .
havent played the remake because i don't have a ps4 but i heard its pretty good, the rest of the games are spin - offs garbage that doesn't matter
easy isn't a bad thing.
i just recently played through these again, and you're right, 1 is so much harder than going commando and up your arsenal.
I think it's because bolts are more scarce, so buying and affording guns and ammo becomes a problem if you die a few times, especially on the last level.
Also, there's no strafing on foot in the first game, locking on almost never works, and you can't throw your wrench and continue to move- you stand still until it comes back to you.
all of this adds to the difficulty, but it's really a good game.
>3 best
I will never understand why people claim this
3 was a reheated 2 with bland characters and bland level design with a tacked on multiplayer.
Not that it's a bad game because 2 perfected the R&C formula and even a rehashed version of it was great.
You can play GC and UYA without buying armor upgrades.
Wait until you get to the final boss; it's a sponge that will suck up all your bullets.
Thats true though, easy games are boring as hell because of how mindless the process of playing them is
This wasn't hard AT ALL, just tedious and boring as fuck. They really dropped the ball with his health bar.
Heavy Bouncer + acid bro.
they're all easy. anyhow I remember watching some video series where two devs played this and were constantly complaining "oh this is so hard I would do this so differently today old games just are too unforgiving" what the hell
you can run but you can't hide
It was good for its time.
All R&C games are easy but how the fuck is 2 easier than 1? 2 was always the hardest to me and all my friends.
I just remember running out of ammo fighting the last boss of the first game.
2 has weapon upgrades?
If you level up weapons by playing arena, it's easy?
>date controls
It's the same as going commando but going commando added strafing
I wouldn't know about that.
I replayed the Ratchet series a while ago and the first one was a piece of fucking cake, defeated Drek on my second try (first try i fucked up with the bullshit slingshot platforming) .
Overall died less than 10 times during the entire game.
Can't believe as a kid I thought Drek was the hardest shit ever.
Going Commando at least had a bit challenging Arena matches.
>muh straaaaafing
It's like you only ever watched it on youtube without playing it.
>flat weapons
>he didn't buy the golden rocket launcher that ricocheted off of enemies and exploded multiple times
I'll admit it. RC1 is nowhere near as good as 2 or three. Everything good about one they upgraded. However the weapons, while not upgradable, work spectacular out of the box.
Bomb Glove, Visabomb, Rocketlauncher, and the flamethrower are always good.
The first game had best Ratchet though
the developers hated the first ratchet (the character)
There is some charm to Ratchets 1st voice. It felt like he as surfboard/skateboard bro; which tied in really well with the hover board races.
I also like how Ratchet and Clank don't initially like each other at first, and we get to see the rough patches they have to go through to save the galaxy.
Why?
I liked him. Seemed the most like an actual character. Clank too.
