Is Ghost Recon Wildlands literally MGSV?

Seriously, it looks like exactly the same game.

>open world third person shooter
>cover system is identical
>scout out bases with a camera to mark targets before attacking
>stealth is emphasized
>helicopter to move around the map

Honestly, watching the game for a minute and it looks so similar. I mean mgsv was pretty fun, but really Ubisoft? Are they not able to come up with shit themselves?

They copied the shitty resource system too.

damn i never realised, check this shit too
>in the game you use a "gun"
>sometimes characters talk with their mouths
>if you press exit the game shuts down

come on ubisoft, come up with something original?

It's actually pretty fun. Main issues are meh heli controls and ballistics are slightly off. Try it in the open beta for yourself if you don't believe me.

...

>in the game you use a "gun"
fucking lost my shit

It somehow lacks even more polish than MGSV had. Every action in GRW feels like absolute shit (at least in the closed beta).

Really, it feels like they combined MGSV's gameplay with ARMA's clunkiness and are trying to pass it off as "Arma for casuals"

Honestly though, wildlands might as well just be a reskin

Can you imagine if Ubisoft made MGSV? Might have been one of the worst games of all time.

>if you press exit the game shuts down

I don't believe you. Every ubisoft game I have played in the last 5 years hangs when I try to exit, and required a force close via alt+f4 or from the task manager.

It will probably be better than MGSV but weebs will deny it because it doesn't have their favorite movie loving hacks name plastered all over it

>implying MGSV's isn't

It'll be more complete than MGSV anyways.

Honestly though, MGSV might as well be a reskin

Why does Kojima trigger plebs so much?

I thought that Sup Forums didn't care about story, and thought that only the gameplay was important?

of what? The overall design of the game is pretty boring and similar to every other open world title ever, but the stealth gameplay is really tight.

>I thought that Sup Forums didn't care about story, and thought that only the gameplay was important?
Recent findings suggest Sup Forums is not one person

I want to try it out, but it sounds like the map is huge as fuck, and you can only coop with like 4+ players.

That´s like playing the Altis map on Arma, solo.

Plebs trigger other plebs

It's a blander MGSV with a better open world, solid coop and a gear treadmill which isn't nearly as insufferable.

Better MGSV

You forgot to mention you literally tag ressources.

>I thought that Sup Forums didn't care about story, and thought that only the gameplay was important?

Even if that were the case with MGSV it wouldn't help. All of the gameplay systems feed into its shitty microtransaction system. Grind troops to level up your base, but make sure you spend money on insurance so you don't get robbed blind! Also wait for DAYS to create strong weapons, but you can do it instantly for a bit of money! Also fuck you if you want to 100% the game because that's hidden behind the RIGGED fob system where they won't ever let the nuke count hit zero because people wouldn't have a reason to keep playing it.

But the microtransactions don't matter at all? You don't need the stronger weapons anyway, the game gives you so much powerful stuff early on you don't need to grind for the online weapons.

You can beat the entire game with the tranq pistol, a silenced tranq sniper, and stun arm lvl 3, which I got by like mission 12.

>The overall design of the game is pretty boring and similar to every other open world title ever
>tfw someone answers their own post but they don't realize

Grind is still ridiculous, considering how deep the weapon customization system is the fact that they only give it to you when you're like halfway through the African chapter is stupid. At least in Wildlands you can basically get the gear you want if you're willing to explore "high difficulty" areas.

I couldn't really trace back the type of game to its source, but at the very least farcry 3 had the "destroy scattered bases at your own leisure" design philosophy. It's just a type of game. Pointless to compare two side by side and say one ripped off the other when there's a dozen more out there.

It's not that ridiculous though? If you are getting good ranks on missions, completing optional objectives, and making sure to fulton highly skilled soldiers, you can get weapon customizations as soon as you finish the first africa mission.

>You can beat the entire game with the tranq pistol, a silenced tranq sniper, and stun arm lvl 3, which I got by like mission 12.

Go do some max rank FOBs and say that shit. Those things necessitate max rank stun shotties and all sorts of shit. But as i isadi t's rigged so there's no point in doing it to unlock the ending.
