Fuck off with your stupid fucking thread every fucking day.
Sup Forums did not defend paid mods and right now majority of Sup Forums is losing it's shit because gabe has not changed his view about paid mods.
Memba when trolls' bait was actually good? I member.
Never saw a single good argument against them 2bh
I wish I was happy
Is there some guy out there with a notepad file that has listed all the daily threads he needs to make?
This shit is getting ridiculous
I think so too. Right now there's another post about some jewtuber and his deus ex fetish which is posted every other day. This is plebbit tier
No
>Mods are paid for
>opens the way for competition
>good modders who enjoy it spend more and more time molding
>the community flourishes in quantity and quality from competition
I see nothing wrong with this.
>Sup Forums didn't defend pain mods
Except modders only 20 percent
> there aren't autists who eat where they shit
>i dont even understand how mods work
this seems to be a common theme of posts in favor of this shit
I'm not in favor really I'm just saying I see nothing wrong with it because good modders can continue to mod more frequently since they will get paid for them. Maybe through steam would be silly but in general that wouldn't be a bad thing.
1) "memberberries" is the fucking dumbest thing South Park has ever done and you are even dumber for liking it than they are for making it
2) Sup Forums did not defend paid mods for even a second, and Sup Forums started hating Valve before the paid mods bullshit.
I don't, actually.
...
Why would someone who has a job and a career abandon it to make mods fulltime?
> competition improves quality?
Then every product in the world right now would be god tier. What faggots like you don't understand is modders don't give a shit about you. If they want to see something in a game they use their skills to implement it. And if it works they share it in the community.
If paid mods were a thing games will turn to absolute shit. Game developers will put out more half finished shit that can be fixed with mods. You'll have to buy mods to fix the game you already bought. And the developer will get money for NOT DOING something that they were supposed to do. And also the number of modders who don't know shit about modding will increase. The modding industry is great as it is. And people who have the skills required for modding can find work both online and irl
wait what? will this make it compulsory for people to by mods? Why not just use nexus?
>NEETS
Also it doesn't have to be full time but any incentive to make more mods and compete is good enough.
Not an argument
>heres my proof
>speculation
You sure showed him user.
But the incentive is that they love what they do; look at the Thief community. New content, great content comes out all the time.

Watch how Valve kills modding community in real time
Are you retarded? The initial game payment is a huge gate. Forcing you to make 20 bucks for your horse cock mod, which ends up being REQUIRED by 18,000 other mods to run because you're a degenerate faggot furry with more money than brains, means there's more requirements for shit and it ends up being an even worse system than plain microtransactions because the total cost for the game ends up being significantly higher. At least I can literally pirate microtransactions.
There's also dealing with fuckers who write mods to literally kill your system if they detect a mod they don't like. Not even incompatibility, malicious code to fuck everything up because the maker of Horsecock mod A really fucking hates maker of Horsecock mod B because they dated at one point and one of them has a literal sore ass from it. Everyone's paying for their choices so he suddenly feels a lot more justified in being a complete system-destroying asshole, something that should be contained to Skyrim on consoles and Minecraft.
You also open the system for the people who CURRENTLY make shovelware to switch focuses and start making shovelware paid mods, which then somehow gate the community and system even further.
The only thing you should be allowed to do is beg for donations, and you'll get them anyways if your mod isn't sucking a big fucking turd straight out of Camero or Howard's ass.
Fuck.
>Game developers will put out more half finished shit that can be fixed with mods.
as opposed to now where they put out half finished games that never get fixed?
The fuck is member?
Name one.
