I'm running with 3.5Gb vram
i got the newest nvidia radeon 22100K and I'm loving it. I run all the newest games @4080p at 70 pictureframes per second, and my polling rate has a hz of 200. it's p great.
>Asus gtx 1070 turbo
HD6670
I have some pretty beefy quadra core action going on
Still using 4790
I have regrets
Pretty happy with it so far.
...
asus rog 1080
I'm fine with it.
Probably going to upgrade it in 1 or 2 generations
just got this one for 200$, steal of my life.
two evga 1080 acx 3.0.... SLI
390
It's still holding up well despite being almost two years old.
6870
just kill me already
Closed tower
Two of these, watercooled in SLI. Feels good man.
the door is currently off annon, i was just cleaning it up in the shop and its safer to wheel it around with the hand truck with the sides on
Ebay mother fucker, seriously get your shit together.
I have this one too
...
>1GB of VRAM
this was specifically marketed to attract retards
the 1080 only has 4gig vram? The fuck is this?
EVGA 770 2GB
rate me
Same here, but I paid $450
I love this thing. Not as silent my 970 G1, but i still love it.
NEVER buy below x70 models of Nvidia card. Even that is arguable. x80 is always the minimum with x80 Ti being the preferred choice. At the time of purchase, it will provide you the absolute best settings and performance for all past games and new games for the next 1-2 years. After that it will still be plenty fast for most newer games at 1080/60 at near max settings. By years 4 and 5 it will start to show it's age and need replacing. However, you've had 4-5 years to save up again. On top of that, the card should still sell for at least a couple hundred dollars. Use it towards the next x80 Ti and bam, massive jump in performance and you're back on top again.
How anyone can blow $150-300 on garbage tier GPUs like the 1050 Ti or even the 1060, is beyond me. Get smart, save for anther month or so, and do it right.
bought it last week, loving this card
does your 3570k bottleneck the 1080 at all?
>he fell for the SLI meme
You should have bought Titans instead if you love wasting your money
...
windows
no bottleneck whatsoever, even while doing mulitimonitor/streaming/htc vive
have not noticed a single bit of bottlenecking.
The Gigabyte triple coolers are normally pretty silent
Is it a good card ? Can it perform 144fps at 2k? Does the current nvidya driver is okay or?
>MUM I NEED A FULL TOWER TRUST ME
>EVGA 1080
>2 of them
Enjoy your house fire user
r9 280x
what card should I get next, this one is showing her age at last
>no bottleneck whatsoever
that's good. i've been considering upgrading to a 1080 1440p 144hz setup since i've saved a lot of money but i don't know if a 1080 would be a good investment, or if i should wait for the ti
>SLI
why? and what bridge?
Might be time to upgrade.
Bought it used for 100 euros a few weeks ago. Pretty nice upgrade from GTX 660 I think.
Ah yeah I forgot speccy does that
>twf GT 630
Please kill me now
On my budget build.
Despite it being classified as low end these days, it still holds up like a beast. Even pushed the overclock a little bit higher.
I'm so sorry user
why never buy below 70?
what's bad about those cards?
...
> being so poor you can't afford a full tower both in raw upfront cost or in space in your tiny British loft
Stay poor you fucking eurocunt. I bet you're a skeleton too.
u dont know my suffering
>tfw 8800gt and frankenstein build from ages ago when it was new
>basically sticks and rock caveman getting shit from friends
>still running solid without any hardware issues at all this whole time while friends have some faulty shit
I have no idea why I still do this or how it has stayed alive. I guess obsessive cleaning and upkeep along with autism. I play older PC games but still get decent performance on somewhat recent stuff.
I plan on finally getting with the times this year. Still, I'm nervous since my current comp has been a solid champ. It won't be scrapped but donated for study since it's a mystery.
there is not much point in waiting for the ti refresh, nvidia usually does something jewy for the release anyways.
290x here.
I am considering upgrading to a 1080 but I really don't see a good excuse to upgrade.
Why is 2017 such a shit year for PC gaming?
...
>gtx 970
should i sli that shit?
the 8800gt is a great card, im happy it survived the forced culling by nvidia.
>1440x900
Ayy I'm running the same resolution. What monitor?
...
It was part of one of those budget builds where I preferred to invest in the CPU.
It's pretty outdated but I can't think of a single game on PC that would justify wasting money when the Switch is around the corner and PS4 is getting all the games that interest me.
Anything less than a x70 is money wasted. The performance gap between the average x60 to 70 model is massive for very little price. We're talking a hundred dollars at most.
While someone who bought a x80 Ti will be enjoying max settings and 60 fps for two years straight, someone who wasted half the cost on a x60 will be dealing with compromised settings from day one, with each subsequent release being more and more difficult to keep adequate performance levels on. Also, they have no value. In a year they're down to half value which is practically nothing.
It's ironic that people think they're saving money buying shit GPUs every year when if they just saved up in th first place and bought a top tier GPU, they'd last much longer, stretching the value of the card immensely, all the while having a far more enjoyable experience throughout.
Getting RX 480 at monday from MSI.
This is my current card. No complains. Can still play new titles at decent settings.
my first GPU, just got it this week
Thinking of buying one of those, how are the temps? can it do 2.1 ghz
AMD or NVIDIA?
W1942T
it's alright
Now i just need to move up from a dual core to a quad core
Couldn't be happier. After I made the upgrade I played 1 game that actually used the power and now I'm back to playing emulators/JRPGs/indieshit.
No regrets.
just bought an asus 750 ti last month, hows the gigabyte one?
im still using a gtx 560 and it works fine
Good silent cooler
I only play warframe and pre 2015 games
What's the difference between that and this? The color?
I'm gonna buy myself an and rx480 8gb card for about 220. Any good? Any advice is appreciated.
The 970 G1 was completely silent, completely inaudible, now the 1070 i can hear it a little bit, it's barely audible but i can tell when the cooler spins up, of course the HDD is way noisier so it's not like it matters.
In good ports it goes beyond 150fps at 1080p with no problem. In some parts of RE7 it reaches 200fps.
1080TI when
I need to prepare for Bannerlord
Twin Frozr cooling is fucking awesome.
BloodBorne 666

>After I made the upgrade I played 1 game that actually used the power and now I'm back to playing emulators/JRPGs
stop being me
EVGA HB bridge, did it because I want to be able to play literally anything maxed out at 4K and get 60FPS and SLI 1070s isn't enough for that (I know because I tried). I'm sure some people are going to go "why wouldnt you just buy Titan XPs" but not only are 1080s enough to get the job done, they have a much better price:performance ratio, I already had the blocks for Gigabyte 1080s and being Canadian I'd get totally destroyed by the exchange rate and customs ordering Titan XPs from NVIDIA.
Had to get this half-height card because only it could fit into a Dell sff. Going from HD 2000 to this card was such a massive upgrade, I spent a whole night reinstalling older games in which my comp couldn't handle above 20fps before to see 60fps for the first time in my life. Shit was miraculous
Definitely way over the hill now, but it has been a solid workhorse of a card. Couldn't ask for more.
Any idea when a 780ti will be good for the trash ?
Running this with a quad core i7 950, and 32gb of RAM, and I have had 0 problem maxing anything out at 1080p60.
New GPUs are a meme unless DX12 is super important to you.
Expecting it to fall off any day now though. Just waiting for the game that makes me need to upgrade.
In hindsight I probably shoud have gotten the 6GB version or a 480, not that the card hasn't been playing everything perfactly though, but it may not be that future proof.

750ti bois
>Can it perform 144fps at 2k?
That's the dumbest quest anyone asked about anything.
Great card for 60fps at 1080p. Do it
Pic related
It's all right for what it is. It's a $120 card so there's no much to expect performance wise, it plays whatever I throw at it without too much trouble, especially if you are willing to compromise on graphical settings/framerate.
Power consumption is low and even without much maintenance it remains cool. I'd say it's a decent card if you don't need much GPU power.
...
If you only care about 1080p 60fps it's perfect.
It can also edge into 1440p, but I've only done it with VSR. Not sure if that's different from owning an actual 1440p monitor performance wise.
Good for you user, joining the masterrace is an important step in your life.
quit and cheaper then a 480 here in germany
