>A new game console is coming out next month >It's $300 >It's a hybrid console and handheld >The battery lasts about 6 hours in handheld mode but some games such up more battery than others >you'll have to pay for online service which is about $20 a year >About three games are coming out for it >The first one at launch an Open world action adventure game >The second coming in the summer a mostly multiplayer game with your usual mode's team death match, secure the point etc. >The third in December a 3-D Platformer
Are you buying it?
Aaron Cooper
Yep, it's pretty damn neat, going to play it at the London event in a few weeks
Elijah Butler
Did they reveal online price or are you guessing?
Already played splatoon and mk8 on wiiu and can get Zelda on it as well. Might try to snag one on black Friday or wait a year.
Julian Campbell
>have to pay for online service
Wrong. Dumb dumb Americans are so dumb the concept of not purchasing thing is actually alien to them.
Christopher Long
>20 a year You are one delusional motherfucker.
Logan Phillips
>$300 lol plus tax and the mandatory games
Thomas Martinez
No. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the SNES. Just run an emulator for the rare stuff I do want to play. Get a new Earthbound game in the mix and I would wait in line for the new dumb gimmick console.
Gabriel Jackson
Buy from Neweggs Ebay store once they restock.
No tax, at least not here in Maryland.
Dylan Cook
No, I want it for the multiplayer party game on launch with a sizable single player mode for the first time in quite a while for the series, but that alone isn't enough to get me to buy it. I'll probably buy it in November for that, the puzzle game that hits in April which I've played before but want in English and portable, the JRPG that's supposed to come out by the end of the year, and the 3D platformer the next month. I won't be getting the online service, either.
Dylan Perry
no, this year has been so stacked for other consoles and will be i don't see a reason to buy a Switch yet
Nicholas Lewis
>$300 Not in the third world (Europe)
Asher Peterson
No. I lag a few generations behind Nintendo, so I'm gonna get a Wii U once the price drops.
Jonathan Perez
I'll buy it and enjoy a comfy spring playing zelda. then I will forget about it until winter and enjoy mario in a warm room while snow falls outside.
comfiest release schedule ever.
Brayden Butler
They announced that as the price though?
Jose Perez
No they didn't.
Leo Reed
i saw this exact same thread yesterday fuck off faggot :^) nintendo is literally getting shittier with each gen, and they've pretty much already abandoned the WiiU
Colton Lopez
Kimishima or whatever his name is said in an interview that they're aiming for about 2000~3000 yen a year or something like that, which would probably be $20~30 in the west
I wouldn't take anything as fact until it's official though
Evan Johnson
I wager NoA is going to charge 30 for their online. They're gonna mark that shit up as much as possible. It's the unique opportunity they're offering, after all.
Carson Butler
>3000 yen (aprox. $30) in Japan >$40 in US because why not. >60€ in EU because taxes.
Landon Johnson
Why would you ever buy a console when pc exists?
Noah Fisher
I'm just buying it for xenoblade 2. I preordered zelda too, but I haven't been hyped about a zelda game since tp.
