Popular series' you just can't get into.
Popular series' you just can't get into
Elder Scrolls
Elder Scrolls
Mass Effect
Dragon Age
Dark Souls
I just think that WRPGs are boring. Not that JRPGs are much better but there are a few that I like.
That's not how tick marks work
The reboot is shit though so it's normal you can't get into it
I mean the entire series.
come at me
Scratch It & Wank is shit
Fair enough, in that case you might just like the reboot considering how it's a terrible R&C game.
Zelda
They're just so boring. Only the dungeons are entertaining but they're only 1/5 of the game.
Uncharted. I don't get it. I really wanted to like U4 but it was just boring and uninteresting.
ITT: Hipsters
Dark Souls. The combat is just too slow and tedious.
>inb4 get good
I kms'd God Hand
t. Pleb
GTA has never appealed to me
I'm halfway through GTA5. Boring af
Persona
Resident Evil
Final Fantasy
Zelda
RE
MGS
And most all western games
Metal Gear
Devil May Cry
Tales
Mass Effect
Persona games are actually shit. Not liking them probably means you're a healthy person with a healthy social life who has friends in real life instead of simulating having them in a shitty JRPG with combat straight out of Wizardry, a game released 35 years ago.
This.
It just kind of passed me by really, and I've never had the interest to get into it even though I have the means to do so now.
Really? I played it for the first time a month ago and thought the story was great.
The entire concept just seems unfathomably lame, I just can't begin to understand the appeal of it, and this is coming from a guy who likes his Disney shit. The more I've read about it in recent years, the more it seems like the series just gets progressively more ridiculous.
I just can't get into the FPS horror aspect of the game.
Played 1. Thought it was alright, but rather dated in certain ways.
Played some of 2. Got to where you play as Raiden and just stopped playing.
Played MGR and loved it.
Got through about half of Phantom Pain before getting burned out.
Dark souls
But the way it's wrapped up is too clean and easy tbqh
Gran turismo
I'm not really into racing games unless its an arcade racer (like Daytona)
Skyrim.
I really dont get how people can like that game, its just so fucking boring.
Elder Scrolls
Neverwinter games.
TF2 and its clones.
>PS4 friend constantly shills R&C to me after having finally gotten a PS4 for the KH games
>Plays like trash in comparison to the originals, controls worse, doesn't look great with all the blurring, 30 fps feels awful
>"Guess I didn't notice that stuff since it was my first R&C game"
It's what prompted me to buy a modded PS2 memory card so I could play the originals, and goddamn was it worth it
The Witcher
Dragon Age.
Which is weird because I loved Mass Effect.
>Shills
>Friend
You friend was paid to push Ratchet and Clank on you?
Nomura just can't write for shit. With each game the story gets more and more convoluted and needlessly criptic.
Don't believe me? Compare the dialogue from the first game with 0.2 's dialogue between Aqua and Mickey.
This. I've played every single non-handheld Zelda game so far, and I couldn't finish any of them out of boredom. I understand why people like them though
This.
Love the series, bought the reboot in April, played it for a few hours.
It has been gathering dust on my shelf since.
How is the film?
I usually enjoy them the first time around but I just can't get around the hype for Breath of the Wild.
I don't get why people think because it's Nintendo they'll do Open World right. Every signs point to the opposite.
>World too large for it's own good
>Sparse narrative
>Towers (B-but they'll be good unlike Ubisoft's!)
>B-but it has physics and stuff!
>Collectables instead of real content to warrant the size of the world
This game looks like it missed the bandwagon of Open world games by 3 or 4 years
My dudes. I grew up without nintendo and just recently got into their games. Most of their acclaimed titles I found at least enjoyable, but appeal of Zelda just slips from my mind, and I tried almost all of them.
BoTW looks kinda cool tho.
