It's possible to do anime-style 3D without it looking like utter trash. It's uncanny valley as shit with mixed levels of detail, poor shading techniques 90% of the time, mismatched anatomy with all the girls having samechin and massive heads even by anime standards. I could keep going but this is an anonymous imageboard and you probably don't care that much about my opinion. I attached an image of a more unique attempt at this kind of style while still being visually attractive. I'm not saying anything should match this style or its level of detail as that's unfeasible but it shows that there are alternatives.

Although ideally those kind of models would simply not be used and 3D animation would remain a tool to perfect 2D animation.

Yes, it was originally supposed to be a zero escape style game with many endings but to get the budget they did an anime first with just one route. Then they got a shoestring budget anyway and only added one route, with only the ending being different.

It was also poorly received and now they are literally trying to give the game away.

Pretty much all modern anime falls under that category.

The problem is when it is the only redeeming feature of the game. You end up with something boring and shitty to play, which only sells because it has girls kissing in a promo screenshot. And because your yurifaggots can't and won't devote yourselves towards buying decent games, instead we only see more yurishit being produced instead of decent attempts at games.

Yurishit is shit because it has no content beyond the yuri. Hell, it doesn't even have good characters or a good relationship between them. You're only buying the game because of a few screenshots. You're as bad as The Order 1886 fans.
