>Combat consists of bumping into an enemy, then mashing the arrow keys in a small circle, any way you want till you win the fight
Holy fuck people unironically like this trash? No wonder they put Denuvo on this shit game, gotta hope people won't pirate it and see how terrible the combat is.
Thank God for steam refund, you retards almost memed me into wasting money on this trash.
Least it's got some decent art to masturbate to, but God what a terrible game.
Hunter Perry
Should have checked the demo first. The combat is what made me not buy this game when it got released.
I'll check it out when it somewhere around $30.
Ian Murphy
You're not gonna get anywhere with mashing random button combos on any other difficulty than easy.
Pretty obvious that you either did so, or watched some random faggot play the game on youtube.
Michael Gray
lol I loved the combat, just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else has to feel the same.
Don't push your shitty views on other people.
Isaac Martinez
Lmaoooooooo
Alexander Roberts
>calls people fools for letting him buy the game >not realising there was a demo >and other people are to blame
fucking hell, Sup Forums. just what the fuck.
Tyler Torres
Stop playing on easy faggot.
David Nelson
>Pretty obvious that you either did so, or watched some random faggot play the game on youtube. That's what all the cool kids on Sup Forums do nowadays, just watch a let's play of their favorite e-celeb and come here to complain about the game.
Literally the new generation of gaming among 18 year old kids.
Christian Torres
>You're not gonna get anywhere Not OP but there's no way to know and you can't trust random blind weebs on Sup Forums. The demo is mashy as fuck. And the whole combat system is completely overengineered. Further into the game you might have to do something other than mash buttons, but it's probably just a matter of figuring out that one broken arte or combo and spam it.
Carson Collins
And? The whole JRPG genre is "pick your strongest attack, occasionally switch to appropriate element to cover weakness". At least in Berseria you have to dodge and learn what combos nicely
Thomas Perez
>he fell for the tales of meme Welcome to the club. Don't fall for the Tales of is good this time around meme or that the story isn't trash for once.
Gabriel James
My friend actually told me the demo gave the game a bad rap, and that the gameplay gets better takes a while to get better.
Samuel Foster
First wilderness boss was a pain in the ass because it took a lot of time to figure out a proper rotation that would exploit weakness, deal a decent amount of damage and be quick enough because he gets stagger immunity when enraged. But yeah, I bet smashing buttons works on baby difficulty.
Joseph White
Just increase the difficulty from Hard>Intense>Chaos.
You get Hard in the starting, Intense/Chaos is unlocked a little later.
Colton Nguyen
I don't hate the new system but kinda wish it goes like [ ] for normal attack, / \ for a artes, O for b artes, X for jump, keep the directional command for artes input and now you get the best of tales system combined.
James Harris
I dislike this battle system because it doesn't have the clasi directional input for a arte and lack of a basic attack. and teh fact that the enemies break out of combos out of nowhere or take too much time to be staggered. combo
Justin Garcia
I own the game disliked the shit out of the demo. Game is good and combat is full of depth and very customizable. OP is just a fag who played the demo for 10 mins and came to Sup Forums.
Aiden Campbell
Japanese people love their button mashan. It the japanese "action RPG" equivalent of the western Diabloclones that consist of only mashing one skill.
Kayden Williams
...
Connor Nelson
I 100% agree with you.
Christopher Rivera
This is bait. The combat is mediocre as hell.
Christopher Young
Play ToX2 Volt boss fight at hardest difficulty for some real challenge.
