I loved the Prime games.

But i've also gotten my fill of them too, i'd prefer something more traditional as well.

She had an official game in 2010 user...it was a complete failure on every front and didn't even accomplish what it set out to do, which is get more Japanese fans.

Metroid has been dead for a decade.

It's never going to be good ever again.

Metroid was my most favorite consolefag franchise ever in history but I accepted the fact it's no longer going to be good or relevant long ago.

It will have one more game and then it will be dead for good. It's been dying since Echoes. Other M gave it a really big push down the toilet, and Federation Force is the pipes after the flush.

One more game and it will be in the sewers and done with.

It's easy: 3D game following Fusion, made by Retro Studios. But Nintendo won't. They'll just keep pushing stupid shit out. It's hilarious how a series that achieved so much recognition among the best games ever made with Super Metroid and Metroid Prime can still be fucked up by bad decisions.

I'm torn on the Retro thing, i'd rather get a third DK or something entirely new than another Metroid from them.

But I also trust them with Metroid probably more than any developer.

Well Sakamoto doesn't ever want to touch Metroid again after the reception of Other M and Nintendo also knows exactly how people feel about that game, so I think that wouldn't happen again regardless of who developed it.

You're right, it was actually GOTY of 2016 too.

But it completely shat on the official efforts of the last decade and Nintendo tried to shut it down since it made Federation Force look like a joke.

Fuck. The sad thing is that Other M could've been a decent game. I think buried underneath all of the bullshit and awful design decisions there could be something cool. They just managed to fuck it up in basically every way.

The only thing it did right was "Metroid could theoretically work in a 3D space that isn't first person"

Aside from that, from the controls to the level design to the collectibles it fucked up.

I really like Fusion's, even if it's not really hers.
