RPG's that have romanceable companions and NPC's shouldn't have any gender restrictions placed upon them. ie: everyone should be bisexual
>b-but it's not realistic Yeah well, neither is casting fireballs or hurtling in space through a wormhole. What do you have against more freedom and options?
Camden Thomas
what if it doesn't fit their character?
Dominic Cooper
Are you one of those people that thinks everyone is capable of loving someone regardless of gender? I think you're giving the human race a lot more credit than it deserves.
Gabriel Sanders
Yet another garbage thread. It's not even shitposting anymore, it's just garbage. We are getting up to four of these per hour. All of them boring, failing to be even really rallying people up anymore, and getting deleted in a matter of tens of minutes. So what I really have to wonder is: why do you people keep making them? How desperate must you be when you desperately cling to strategies that clearly don't even work anymore? It's not funny, it's not really provoking or trolling anymore either: it's a literal waste of time and bandwith.
Jaxon Powell
Devs should make companions and their romance options as they see fit And if it their vision turns out to be shit it's going to be criticized
Jeremiah Diaz
Lmao you're a faggot

>best girl in DA:I is lesbian only Fuck, I'll never get over how hard EA cucked me.

I like how progressive and open-minded Sup Forumsis these days.

>NPC's shouldn't have any gender restrictions True dat. >b-but it's not realistic >Yeah well, neither is casting fireballs or hurtling in space through a wormhole. Now you are being an idiot. That is some retarded analogy and you should know better.
Nicholas Rodriguez
in dragon age 2 specifically the thing was that they weren't even bisexual, characters would be exclusively gay or straight depending on the sex of your character, like they say they're exclusively gay or straight now
now THAT is weird and you shouldn't do that
Ian Smith
It's that bisexual and even over homosexual shit that added to the ruining of Anders to the point he may never even appear again.
It's was completely contradictory to his original character, to cope with that they just fucked him up.
Characters shouldn't be dumbed down just because you want to virtually fuck em. That's as hypocritical as shit can get when you consider Bioware's targeted during this game.
Josiah Howard
fuck your cheap bait
Jack Diaz
I feel like im the only person on Sup Forums who doesn't engage in romance in these games
>Ancient evil has awakened and we're probably all going to die >HURRR NOWS A GOOD TIME TO PUT A BABY IN MY GIRL
Homosexuality is degeneracy and it should be removed from games outright save in the case where they are poking fun at it
Levi Wilson
its like ordering a well done stake expecting it to be done rare
Nathan Williams
no RPG should have romances they invite faggots like OP

>everyone is capable of loving someone regardless of gender It is generally accepted that parents are capable of loving their children even if they are of the opposing gender. And no, there is no difference between the love of parents or partner. Sex does not factor into love, nor does love necessarily entail sex, even between partners. Sex is just another bonding activity.
Daniel Ramirez
Not even him, but fuck off faggot.

Jordan Richardson
No, it is covering all the bases of your customers. And if someone wants to play a gay hairy dwarf who is all over alistair, the preconceived notions of the developer should not inhibit the enjoyment of the customer, at least in case of relatively cookie cutter products like EA-bioware stuff.
Sebastian Jenkins
>Yeah well, neither is casting fireballs or hurtling in space through a wormhole.
Giving the characters no sexual preference at all is just homogenizing, it makes them boring. Just like if none of them had any moral preference (no reaction to good/bad things you do or things that happen in the story) or tactical preference (they'd all have identical kits instead of doing different things in combat).
Yeah, let's just make all the characters the same because I can shoot fireballs. Great logic.
How about replacing every character's head with an enormous purple dildo? That's not realistic either, right? After all, I can shoot fireballs so that means literally any kooky idea I have should be allowed.

It serves you right, you are retard without taste.

I advise you to educate yourself and never keep trying to improve yourself intellectually, even if people keep saying that it is no use.
As you can probably read, since you caguely seem to refer to my post, there is no difference in affection, as I said. You would wish the same positive things for your children that you would want for your partner. And as you might also have inferred by the special mention of sex as not being related to love, it means that you fuck whoever you want to and legally are allowed to fuck, not everyone you love, like your children and parents, your functional analphabet.
Charles Wright
Yeah, no.
Brody Perez
Let me explain to you why your point is wrong and stupid. There is this thing where human beings want something more than others because they are exclusive to a certain scenario. The reason we have limited edition items is because people don't want to miss out on a chance to have something that isn't special, so they buy them up at a fantastic rate. In RPG's especially this is important, since the point of most modern RPG's is reputability, it's important that the developers make multiple characters who are only ramancable by certain genders, and sometimes races. This gives the player a reason to replay the game as something other than they did in the first play through, and possibly explore other avenues. On top of that RPG's are very story important, and well written characters are vital to a story. Characters that are just there and willing to fuck anyone for any reason isn't well written, it's shit, and your opinion is shit.
Jason Morgan
>Sera wait you mean the gollum thing
who would consider this best girl >And as you might also have inferred by the special mention of sex as not being related to love, it means that you fuck whoever you want to and legally are allowed to fuck, not everyone you love, like your children and parents, your functional analphabet. well you sound like a bigot

>Yeah well, neither is casting fireballs or hurtling in space through a wormhole. Stop this fucking meme. Sci Fi and fantasy worlds are usually still realistic. In that world, shitting out fireballs and jumping eighty meters is the norm, so when you're immersed in that world you can accept it as real. The characters usually feel like actual human beings. When you do unrealistic shit like that it ruins the believability if the characters and their personality.
Don't know if I explained that properly, probably not.
