for honor is shit
nioh is overrated, but still pretty good
no brainer
One is a good game.
The other is by Ubisoft.
Nioh is a dark souls copypasta
For honor is the best fighting game of the decade
For honor definitely, its a blast apart from connection issues. Nioh just seems like a cheap rip-off of Dark Souls.
Nioh easy, it's not the goty people are claiming but it's a solid 8/10. It scratches the itch if you're tired of playing BB and DS3 for over a year.
While I got and enjoy both, I have to say For Honor because while Nioh is great, it is just another Souls-like but there's nothing else like For Honor.
why do you keep making these threads
they arent even remotely similar you fucking idiot
I'm not shill, but For Honor™ is friggin GOTY family
One is an original game
The other one is a bad ripoff
Didn't ask for a comparison, just which is worth buying more.
Nioh is great, like Japanese Bloodborne.
For Honor is a great concept but total shit game. Ubisoft as usual.
Both are shit.

A shitty souls clone vs a decent multiplayer game
Wow its a really tough decision
For me, it's For Honor.
>ubisoft
Really gets the noggin ______?
The most unique and original multiplayer experience on the market
I always thought people where joking when they said shilling happened here, this thread is proving me wrong.
Nioh is just a linear darksouls copy
Just because there's no other games out there that play like For Honor doesn't mean it's unique or original.
Nioh is a quality product. Just finished my first play through and it took me about 55 hours. Still have a couple missions to go.
If you've ever played a fighting game you'll hate how loose and sloppy For Honor feels. It's alright but I wish I could return it.
Which of these? Am but a poor goy.
>Ubisoft marketers riding on the coattails of Nioh
civ 5 or deus ex
BUY FOR HONOR
I wouldn't consider For Honor a souls style game though.
There is no combat like the McHonor.
>no games like it
>not unique
huh...
RE6
Why are these games being compared?
All the meme lords aside
How much do you like fighting games?
How much do you like action RPGs
If the first is more then the second get For Honor, if the reverse is true get Nioh.
He's not comparing them, he's just asking out of the 2 which should he get, even though it's probably a bait thread just to stir up a shitpost war.
>One is a shitty Dark Souls clone with a shoddy Diablo style loot system
>The other is made by Ubisoft
Can I get some better choices, OP?
For Honor because it has actual graphics.
Nioh is mid-PS3 tier.
because he only has enough money for 1
>One is made by Koei Shitmo
>The other by Ubishit
Why would you ever compare the two?
Well to be fair For Honor is basically any other fighting game on the market with a larger map and a walking Sim attached to it, the actual combat isn't revolutionary or original. They just threw some pointless gimmicks over a fairly basic fighting game.
You mean like Nioh does to the souls series?
What games do you like user?
>comparing based Koei Tecmo to Ubishit
fuck off Ubi Shills.the Division never forget
what other fighting game would you recommend?
What an astute observation.
>comparing a obscure weeb tier shit developer to a AAA developer
kek
>He post a syphilitic ridden Jew, raised by a single mother, who EVERYNIGHT fucks transvestites but wont admit hes gay Unironically.
Really Nocs the boots.
youtube.com
FUCK OFF UBISHILLS!
graphics dont matter dude, aslong the gameplay is fun.
I hate to sound like a Siege fanboy (didn't even buy it) but it doesn't look that different from the release version.
They did get rid of some of the more flashy smoke rendering, although I think competitive players preferred that since it is a tactical shooter.
These games are completely fucking different.
What is up with these comparisons as of late?
Nioh with out even trying
Ubishit P2P enough said
Berseria is better than both
ubisoft game...do i need to say more?
>the Division never forget
I didn't, because I actually like the game.
Meanwhile, all Koei Tecmo has done in the past for me is shitty PC ports, succumbing to the SJW ban on their game, and release a shoddy Fatal Frame game for the Wii U.
They lost my respect a long time ago.
Yes.
>durr let's compare two not even remotely similar games for epic upvotes on Sup Forums xddd
Nioh is fantastic
For Honor isn't even worth downloading the demo
Movies aren't similar at all but you still decide which one to see you fucking imbecile
As a lover of fighting games there isn't one I can really recommend right now unfortunately. I can break them down for you though.
SFV:
Balance changes threw the game out of whack more than it was before. Core gameplay needs work, but I play it the most out of these.
Guilty Gear:
New version coming out soon, but it has its fair share of problem. One of the more mechanically sound games out there but the amount of systems make it hard to swallow for now players.
BlazBlue Central Fiction:
Same problems at Guilty Gear with worse balance. Its fun and I prefer the cast to GG but overall I recommend GG over BB since one has a future.
King of Fighter 14:
Fun game but it's pretty much dead online and competitively.
Tekken 7:
Doesn't come out until June.
It's like asking whether you should eat a porcupine or put your wallet into the microwave
I would not suggest you do either but if you really feel the need to do either, they have nothing in common and asking for suggestions as to which one sucks less is pretty stupid. That solely depends on what kind of misery you have more of a tolerance for. One is a really lackluster unpolished ripoff of lord of the fallen (let's face it, the comparison to the souls game is downright insulting, it has literally nothing of the things that make the souls games palettable, the world is ass and linear, designs are boring, the combat is finnicky, etc) and For Honor is another one of those ""games"" which make me wonder how on earth they keep getting away with asking 60 bucks for a tech demo. It's like they were working on some fancy new tekken mode but then stopped designing 3 moves in and went "yeah, that'll sell". It's the single most barebones, basic, boring, redundant "fighting game" ever made. There's literally nothing appealing about it other than the fact that the trailers made it look like it had the potential to not be shit and it'll be dead faster than Rising Thunder.
Why the fuck are these two even compared
You want P2P Fighting Game? You have Friends?
Then For Honor.
You like Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls and like grinding for ends, but also want some "deep" Equipment Stat system
Nioh!
For Honor has shit Netcode and a bad community. It's also purely Multiplayer, but a very satisfying Fighting Game.
Nioh is ..kinda like Dark Souls just extremely Weeb.
One's a singleplayer game and one is a multiplayer game. You can't really compare them.
Not even being silly, Them's Fightin' Herds is coming in april and shaping up to be a good game for genre newcomers. Easy 4 button movesets, generous input buffers, top tier netcode and a community of people who haven't touched a fighting game in their lives for a gentle learning curve. If you can stomach the fur shit.
>watching movies
might as well kill yourself
>No KI
That game is still alive, despite being only on the Xbone and Win10.
It's also pretty damn well balanced.
>for honor is a fighting game
>dark souls is my first RPG
how did we let it come to this where these people can post here?
One is a really bad souls ripoff. Terribly boring with lack of variety.
At least For Honor is original. A 3D fighter is something you don't see a lot.
It isn't, but it's the easiest way to compare things.
And For Honor is a Fighting Game.
>Rock paper scissors combat shills are out in full force today
Ubisoft pls go
I can't imagine why someone would play a """"""fighting game"""""""" with none of the elements of a real fighting game
whats a "real" fighting game, for honor is a fake fighting game?
If you wanted some kind of fighting game with weapons, just fucking play Soul Calibur which is outright a BETTER fighting game.
For Honor is a """"""""fighting game""""""""" if you reeeeally stretch the meaning and fundamentals of the genre to simply mean "one person fights another person"
There's no oki, and it's entrybarrier is pretty low, but it sure is a fighting game. Just not a traditional one.
It's more of a fighting game than smash.
Btw, you should visit /fgg/ more often.
>Posts some bitch from pokemon
Not with a taste like that you wont
Nioh easily. For Honor is fun, but the gimmick wears off super quick.
its entry barrier is low and its skill ceiling is even lower
I played the last closed beta and some of the open beta and after about 2 hours of learning I never lost again. It's just too shallow to be fun and overall not worth the money or effort
My paycheck says For Honor
You should've played with "Friends" that are close to your Skilllevel, then it might've been more fun.
You can simulate the For Honor experience by having someone randomly unplug your ethernet cord while you're playing a game.
That's because you're paid in Ubibucks™
Speaking of which, 10 Ubibucks™ have just been added to your account for your continued advertising campaign!
The one with cute waifus and not swj shit.
/thread
paying full price for a soul ripoff that looks like a ps3 game and barely runs at 30 fps if you want it to look decent
>grafix!!!!!!!!!!!!!
is that the best you can do?
I combined both on skyrim.
Nord with Teutonic knight helmet on samurai armor with captain america's shield
what reasons are there to get Nioh than lets say, dark souls 3? Even dark souls 2 would be superior to Nioh in every way.
Again you fucktard?
APPLES AND ORANGES!
I am not buying either of them, but I've played both and watched a friend play them.
They're substantially games with different focuses that happened to come out recently.
I dislike Ubisoft, and the fact that they are using always-online DRM (something they've repeatedly fucked up) and cheaping out with a P2P networking infrastructure (which they've also fucked up before) is a pisser that has a negative effect on the player, but the gameplay of For Honor is substantially different from other multiplayer focused games, making it at least a little interesting in terms of game mechanics.
Nioh is a decent Dark Souls clone, but it wasn't super interesting for me.
As I am a single-player action game fan, I just hope that the new Nier isn't garbage.
>Super Mario Galaxy or The Witcher 3. Now that both are out, which is the better game?
more skill based gameplay, that allows gameplay styles other than roll and stab
Dark Souls 3 is a the most shallow and boring game From has ever made
its peak is literally the Undead Settlement and it all goes objectively down from there
Wow, in Nioh you dont have to roll and stab? Must be GOTY.
Different genres dude. Stop.
>haven't seen a movie in awhile, don't know what to see so I ask my friends
>DUDE THESE MOVIES ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT ARE YOU FUCKING RETARDED
>after the movie we are hungry so we decide to eat at a restaurant
>we can't decide because they are completely different and shouldn't be compared
Really makes me think
Why do people compare these games?
It happened with Skyrim and Dark Souls
What the fuck is wrong with you autists
"De vidya both have sords and fight play, witch meens their'ye the sayem gaem"
Reminder to ignore all Ubishit, Activision and EA game posts.
they have all been confirmed to have paid shills.
/thread
No, we're trying to compare which one would be worth more. You can spend money on a burrito and hamburger, even though they are completley different.
Nah mate, that's some top quality gradient in that text, Microsoft Word written all over it
