I was thinking about getting a Switch but I realize there's nothing to play
I'm pirating Zelda, 1 2 and snipper clippers looks gay, Arms is stupid and only shovelware indie garbage.
So why are people buying this?

wow, what an amazing and original nonshitposting thread
surely you speak for everyone in the world
ha ha ha yes i too agree brother what am those nintendrones thinking
So tell me
Is there a reason to buy one of these at Launch?
to be part of the early adopters program once this shit flops and they make it $200
No. Buy one at lunch though
Not if you don't want it? Idk it's not my job to convince you to buy a game you fucking faggot.
ah yes i am sure the populace of the world agrees with such objective opinions like 'snipperclips looks gay'
To have fun?
I'm getting it as my local MP gaming machine, every time I have friends over we have to rely on older Nintendo system like the GC and N64 every since I switched to PS with the PS3 and PS4.
Plus I do want to play a newer Mario kart and Mario party with my nigs.
Buy it when it has games you want
That's what I'm doing
Zelda isn't worth $400
>So why are people buying this?
To play Zelda and the upcoming Mario you fucking retard.
Sup Forums can shit on this all they want, but almost every shot of this thing in handheld mode gets me hard as diamonds. Aesthetic as fuck.
There is absolutely no reason. The switch will flop and nintendo will adjust their business plan for maximum profit only. AKA more shitty phoned in games and more dlc/amiibos.
>Zelda
Everyone sane is pirating that forced dub DLC shitfest
>Mario
Releases during the Holidays
Literally no reason to stress yourself over getting a Switch on launch day.
>So why are people buying this?
I'm gonna let you in on a little secret - Most people have shit taste.
>gamecube, tons of great and unique games, flopped
>wii, no gaems, massive success
>wii u, tons of a great games, flopped
>switch, no gaems, will be a massive success
No! Nintendo will go bankrupt, and Sony will buy their ips
You only realized that now?
If you don't know then you shouldn't be using the internet faggot
still miles better than PS4's launch tbqh
Only if you are delusional.
PS4's launch was above average, all things considered. Plenty of NEW multiplats (some of which better on next gen systems, like Battlefield finally being the same as the PC version, with 64 players and full maps) and even included 3 free games, 4 if you had PS+ (Resogun)
Switch literally has 5 games. And the only one people truly care about is the multiplat.
You are pretty bad at revisionist history, m8. PS4's launch wasn't the best at all, but Switch is the worst of any homeconsole of all time (from MS/Sony/Nintendo), saying otherwise is completely moronic.
>P C
>PS4's launch was above average
is this a fucking joke?
>Plenty of NEW multiplats
...yep.
>Aesthetic as fuck.
Aesthetic is not an adjective
I know it SEEMS stupid to mention _new_ multiplats, but that's how shit the Switch is.
You know, instead of getting new 2017 games from Ubisoft like ForHonor or Wildlands, it gets Rayman (again) a 3 or 4 year old game. And at the end of the year it'll get Skyrim, which will be 6 years old by then, instead of ANY 2017 Bethesda game like Prey. That list old old multiplats goes on and on. NIS for example is porting Disgaea5 from 2 years ago, but none of their 2017 games AFAIK.
So yes, if you think it's stupid that I need to mention PS4 getting current multiplats as a good point (and not just something that should be expected of them) that's because even in this field Nintendo fucks up badly.
We HAVE to count multiplats, otherwise Switch's launch would be so much worse. On day 1 you couldn't count Zelda, as it is not exclusive. So 1, 2, Switch and a budget Bomberman game at almost full price would be the only Switch launch titles. And throughout the year it's mostly getting WiiU ports and multiplats, with the only noteworthy exclusives being Splatoon2 in summer and Mario in Q4.
So if you remove multiplats from the equation, things would be ever worse for the Switch.
And this is all hypothetical and irrelevant, because the Switch didn't release in late 2013, it releases in 2017 and thus only 2017 releases actually matter. If you compare Switch's 2017 to PS4's 2017 there's no comparison to be made, it's just sad.
if you think the launch games look fun you'll buy it. if you don't you won't
personally I'm not super impressed with the launch lineup. I'm patient enough to wait 6+ months to play BotW
I guess the new bomberman doesn't count, right?
I mentioned that game, are you blind?
I mean, shame on you for supporting Konami at this point, especially an obviously vastly overpriced budget title which is only at that high price because Switch's launch is so lackluster they know they'll sell a lot.
But still, it counts and I mentioned it.
or Steep?
that was in a reply to another user so I didn't see it, sorry
BOTW is a launch game, idiot. And so is Bomberman. I dont have to wait.
Steep helps prove my point, thanks for mentioning it. Switch releases right after one of the biggest 2017 Ubisoft titles, ForHonor, and yet it's getting one of their least relevant title from last year that got no marketing and low sales. It's also not going to get any other big 2017 Ubisoft title (unless you want to argue over Lets Dance?)
disgaea is literally their flagship series and i don't think they've made anything worthwhile since w100k, though that's getting a sequel
Doesn't matter.
It's sold out.
Go back to school.
>implying For Honor is good
ok
Steep isn't good either
Literally every Ubisoft title is shit and a $$$ scam, which is why they are known by the name "Ubishit"
My point isn't the game's quality, it's that it's not being supported nearly as much as PS4 by ANY non-1st/2nd party developer.
90% of western games are complete crap for all I care. Pic related was one of the very few exceptions last year.
I don't think third parties typically support a console right at launch, historically speaking.
They do, just not nintendo systems.
There is none, for the average person it's not recommend to EVER buy any console at launch, only idiots or people that have no patience should buy consoles at launch. Though companies need these people for initial launch sales otherwise the console will be dead on arrival.
no, they really don't. There wasn't much third party multiplat support for PS4 at launch, I recall Xbone getting better third party support, in fact. Don't even get me started about the PS3.
I'm not buying it until it's worth buying. Nintendo has done everything wrong since the first video it's amazing.
reminder that robin williams killed himself the day BotW was announced for nintendo switch. coincidence?
>BT
god how can a robot be so fucking based
I really need to play the campaign of this
>died august 14
>announced for nx october 14
Nah it was intended
What utter bullshit. Everything you've said is wrong.
You know you could google Xbone and PS4's launch games and see that both got about the same support, even sharing most of their launch games.
