It kind of looks like Microsoft's Metro UI with the different-sized tiles. What's the theory behind that making for good UI design anyways? It always comes off looking like a disorganized mess to me. At least here they organize them by rows, but it still looks like a poor use of screen space.

I don't think the Wii U library is very good, but since I can now play VC/Gamecube/Wii/Emulators on it, it's very worth it. The few Wii U exclusives I think are good are just a little extra. Also Zelda BotW.

The cost of the system with the discounted storage prices nintendo would have from mass production are significantly less than the cost of a use needing to buy a single sd card on their own.

The cost variance for nintendo per unit would have been measured in pennies, not dollars.
