Neltharion?
It's possible that they hyped it way too much when they didn't have enough substance to back up the hype.
Thank fuck I'm not the only one who keeps thinking this.
Co-op being shoehorned in despite it being a massive marketing feature.
Lack of enemy variety (yeah I know the Spacehulk boardgame has only Tyranids but in the boardgame you couldn't backpedal)
Progression system is garbage, shitty variety in weaponry and lack of cosmetic or any meaningful progression system in general.
Co-op doesn't have storymode
Performance is fucking trash.
HOLY SHIT THE LOAD TIMES, I could actually go vacuum the house whilst waiting for this game to load a level.
The core (shooting, visual design and sound design) is there and very good but it's lacking in so much substance.
They are terrible at optimizing their game, it would have been good if it ran on stable 60 on a midrange gpu. Instead it dropped fps on cutting edge gpu's. Also they should've made some story and npc's to interact with.
"12-person French development team Streum On Studio"
you guys are really fucking idiots if you even bought this, eye was terrible regardless of what people think.
The alpha/beta video leaks shown they either ran out of money or time and that was already the complete game.
never ever trust indie devs.
Especially the fucking French. Europeans cant do anything right
>eye was terrible regardless of what people think.
It was pretty damn fun in coop. Gunplay was solid and the character progression system worked.
Too bad Deathwing sucks anus. It looks like they simply didn't have the talent to develop a game with cutting edge technology. Too much visual fidelity with unoptimized engine.
>Neltharion
Explain please
>Lack of enemy variety
That's EYE alright
Check the reviews. The negative reviews are largely because the game doesn't fucking work. I'm running a 1070 and yet drop to 0fps or freeze completely whenever enemies are on screen.
Deathwing from World of Warcraft, it's his original name
Oh yeah
It ran fine on my 8350/RX480 system, the optimization was really fucking strange.
The annoyances I had was the fucked up controller support, bullet sponge enemies, bugs like weapons failing to unlock, and the generally sparse content.
I feel like there could have been a good game in there if the story had been more engaging and there were more missions and maps. I enjoyed the first half immensely then was pretty put off when they turned me around and said "ok now replay all the maps in the reverse order".
Space Hulk didn't do very well, Armada didn't do very well.
What the fuck.

let's agree there was no way a 12 person team could even finish this game in the required time the publisher set.
It's an eternal early access game.
Maybe someone should make a game from the supplementary boardgames that didn't suck
The Necromunda game looks like it's going to be crap, too
i was looking forward to this game
real shame it came out so bad
Eh, I'm enjoying it.
Considering the last game the publishers put out was Battlefleet Gothic: Armada I didn't expect this to be terrible, refunded it the moment I tried the beta.
It's honestly a shame since it's been established in lore that a fuckload of shit can be in spacehulks whether it be rogue AIs and robots from the Dark Age of Technology, Orks, Chaos cultists, Chaos Space Marines, Tyranids etc.
They were too busy making it look pretty for screenshots they forgot everything else matters.
Hype, and the fact that the beta testers weren't listened to at all.
We were politely spoken to, I'll give them that. The devs even had conversations with us and assured us that "something" would be done. In the end, the Beta was nearly exactly the same as the game itself. Barely anything changed.
>Nids always coming at you in a straight line, so no feeling of getting swarmed
>Recoil on most weapons makes no sense considering you wear terminator armor
>Hacking is boring
>Missions are annoying (slowly walk from one end of the map to another only to return to the initial place)
>Hybrids with civilian tier guns can destroy you
>Some melee animations (hammer) and weapons sounds (bolter) are rubbish
Also I think the CBT only lasted like a week, maybe two? I remember getting the email and being hella excited, playing for 4 or 5 hours and leaving a response on the CBT forums, and then it being closed a few days later. I was confused, because the game was set to release like a week after that date.
Lo and behold, it still had all the exact same problems.
Sadly they only had the rights to the Space Hulk boardgame, which is only Genestealers vs. Terminators. If they were allowed to use every Tyranid there would have been tons of variety, they atleast tried by making never before seen Genestealer strains but it wasn't enough, still felt bland.
people actually expected anything from the devs of EYE
EYE was easily one of the worst FPS ive played
Please stop samefagging. We understand you didn't like EYE. A lot of people didn't. It's not the best game. Some of us, however, like it, and think it's got a pretty neat setting.
I pirated it but every other minute or two the game would freeze for 10 seconds and then resume.
Was it fixed or is there a way to fix it?
its a solid game at its core but its unoptimized and lacks a lot of substance like enemy variety and customization.
Like most indie games trying to look AAA
>Lack of budget
>Lack of team
>Lack of time
This plus the poor optimization, and a lot of people went in thinking it was L4D but 40k when it's really a singleplayer game with optional co-op.
Whoops, meant to quote this fellar instead of OP.
>early access
Why won't this meme die.
Optimization is hard, can't expect it from a 12 man team of scrubs with dem grafix
I refunded it on the load times alone. And that was when it was beta.
It's not early access
Sup Forums got hyped as fuck and talked it up endlessly as god's gift to gaming and the second coming of christ.
Nothing could live up to that, and then the game had huge problems on top of that.
the loading time are beyond unacceptable
i literally had to redownload it on my ssd cause it was taking an average of 2 minutes to download
I don't know if you're joking or not but I've had levels take 10 minutes+ to load whilst Witcher 3 takes 2 minutes and Fallout 4 takes a minute to load.
>still moving shit to Unreal 4
jesus christ this game was released in Alpha.
It always used the Unreal Engine 4
It's warhammer related.
Of course it's trash. Why is that so surprising?
Essentially it had shit co-op.
It was supposed to be a co-op title.
I was really excited for this and then never even bought it.
>another thread where be asks the same question
I know 40kiddies attract autism but holy shit this literal autisn
