Games similar to divinity original sin

Is there even anything else out there that compares to this? I played the classic version a few years ago and I ended up being pretty bored of it quickly. The enhanced edition however fixed many of the problems that classic edition had, and the wonderful full voice acting made the journey of the game so much more enjoyable and immersive. The game's design grants you so much freedom, the ability to kill any npc that isn't the weaver of time. The ability to steal literally anything that isn't bolted to the floor. The only game I've ever played in my life that grants me so much freedom of choice and action while providing such a well written and immersive story is Fallout:New Vegas. But beyond that, I can't find anything else out there that offers everything.
Sure you have the classic like NWN, Baldur, and Planescape, but while those games are definitely well written and fun RPG games they never really offered me that same level of sandbox freedom that divinity and new vegas offered to me.

Please Sup Forums, I have an itch that needs to be scratched.

shameless self bump, because I'm a sad autist who has no games to play.

shameless bump #2, board 2 fast edition.

I just quit this game because my safe file died. Lost too many hours of progress
It was fun while it lasted though. Story was a bit weak but everything else was pretty great

Divinity Origianl Sin 2

Try another playthrough it has enough replayability.

I think there's a save editor or some shit too, but I dont know if it also allows you to modify quest progress n shit.

Any word on when it's leaving early access?

I refuse to buy games until they're done on principal.

Considering how gay and broken classic divinity was, I doubt he'd enjoy it. Divinity 2 doesn't even a finished game yet.

They said they're trying to make sure all the systems and base features are in place before they make more content for the game. Last couple of updates they heavily reworked the ai system and tweaked the economy.

Wasteland 2 was what I followed up Divinity with and I enjoyed my time in it, Sup Forums doesn't seem to like it all that much.

The Age of Decadence if you want a very very sandbox isometric RPG although the combat system is brutually unforgiving.

Underrail is like Metro 2033 as an isomeric RPG with a decent story and a nice combat system.

I've heard a lot of good shit about underrail, but does it give the same level of freedom? You know, like kill everything runs, loot everything not bolted to the floor, etc.

Ultima 7 if you haven't played it yet

Divine Divinity

You get a lot of chances to murder as a result of quests but there are more immortal characters and you won't be able to start a fight at anytime. If you want that level of freedom from my list Wasteland treats combat almost identically, mechanically speaking, as Divinity you just get much less interesting weapons and tools to play with.

The loot system in Underrail is more your standard rpg with loot bags dropping and just looking through chests/crates, I can't think of a single game in the past five years that even compares to the lootability in Divinity though.

I think path of exile's loot system is pretty danm nice.

Haven't played, is it worth playing if I don't spend a cent on it?

There is no pay to win in path of exile, it's all just cosmetics. I personally consider it the only real successor to diablo 2

Eventually you will want to buy stash tabs but you will know long before you need it that you actually want it. If that makes sense.

Works for me I'll give it a try congratz you shills got a download.

Stash tabs are only necessary if you're the kind of person who needs to be a jew merchant trying to get rich off the economy. It's definitely not needed to obtain end game gear. I sold shit just fine without buying and tabs.

I have unfortunately, very good game. I also played the HUE HUE MMO clone of it, Tibia.

>The Age of Decadence if you want a very very sandbox isometric RPG although the combat system is brutually unforgiving.

Max out spears and niggas can't even touch you.
>group of robbers try to shank me
>I walk into an alley and pull out my trident
>they all line up to impale themselves and I dodge ALL the throwing knives perfectly

>one makes it through and cuts me for 0 damage
>I automatically counter-attack 3 holes through his fucking skull
