It's sexy.

This.

Great worldbuilding and visuals, charming characters, boring and uninspired gameplay.

Great setting, charming characters, good music.
Gameplay is passable enough to not ruin your appreciation of everything else.

comfy/10

So damn wonderful, I don't even question why people still make threads. Where's my sequel already?

Piss-easy, repetitive gameplay, but with an incredibly good story, characters and atmosphere.

I love it, but it's far from perfect.

I think its great and enjoyed it immensely. If there was one word I would use to describe it it would be "comfy." It was also the last game I ever preordered and the last time I ever shopped at FUCKING GAMESTOP.

It's my favorite DS game, also I'm REALLY fucking glad I got it when it was under $20, the going price for it now is pretty ridiculous.

Same here. Got it new too.

I think ya furries should get the fuck off my board.

Bonjour~ !

I fucking hate video games. I wish the mods would ban anyone talking about them.

Fuck off you cheese-eating surrender monkey.

Its my favorite video game

Its worldbuilding, story, and characters are some of the best and most detailed you can get in a video game. Its gameplay needs work, but you could do worse

>tfw she's dead

hngggh you need to post her picture when you do that user

Oh FUCK why did you have to remind me? Her voice actor died right?

meow-oui

A really shitty game with awful gameplay and an incredibly cliche story that furries cream their pants over because they want to fuck the characters

Did you at least try it?

Playing it now. Setting is great, characters are generic but have good designs, story seems rather generic, gameplay is shit, fantastic aesthetics though.

I would have loved for it to be better, but it's pretty average as is. merveille and vanille are best girls

Sup Forums didn't actually play it.

Have you played the the end?

No, I'm around chapter 3 on part two. I'm cautiously optimistic for a fantastic ending, but the really rather generic anime plot is hurting my enjoyment.

i want to be mamoru

Then get off Sup Forums RIGHT NOW, play to the end, and then come back.

The scene where the villains transform into their original form still haunts me to this day. I cracked up at that part, really caught me off guard.

This.

However, it is one of the few games that Sup Forums has recommended that has really left a positive impression on me, even with all of its flaws. It's a very fun game that's worth the look.

o-ok

Story will seem generic up until close to the end of the first part, and even then its not really until part 2 until the story goes off the rails (in a good way)

i LOVE opera!

fun game but it runs like shit on actual DS hardware

gud taste my dude

I love it and I wish it wasn't fucking impossible to get the artbooks under $300 each.

He means he doesn't want you to be spoiled as there is some big ones if anyone felt like being a jackass. Especially around halfway through. But I won't be that dick and do it in case you happen to read this.

I swear this game had the cutest one liners. Wish more games would do this.

part of the holy trinity of comfy airship games

.

what are the other two?

I'm betting another is Skies of Arcadia, but what's the last one?

...

Merveille is CUTE

Tail Concerto?

Final Fantasy XII?

Megaman Legends

>heard great things about the story
>characters look cute
>game is so boring that I drop it after 10 minutes
Fug...

jesus wasn't even real

i know this because elh is actually best girl

>give up on a JRPG after 10 minutes
What is your attention span like user?

My man

would a non furry enjoy this game?

Yeah, I did. I even played it to completion because worthless furniggers such as yourself said something along the lines of "b-but it gets better in its second half". It didn't, the game is irredeemable shit

If you can at least put up with the artwork, then sure. Its not a game just anyone would enjoy though. If you're a fan of the .hack// series, you'd probably like it. Or, you'd at least need to be able to enjoy JRPGs that emphasize everything BUT gameplay

The game spends an enormous amount of time and effort on worldbuilding and fleshing out the characters, as most time is spent in dialogue. The gameplay itself is extremely simple and easy, so the game doesn't really offer anything on that end. Its still a unique spectacle in itself though; the idea of combat being based on lifting things up and throwing them is unique.

I played this for 3 or 4 hours and enjoyed it somewhat, but the gameplay is so slow and simple that I haven't felt like going back to it. Is it worth it?

It's just so damn easy and boring.
I can't even understand how people go through such shitty games.

There's some racing gameplay and sidequests and arena fights and shit that give the gameplay a bit more variety, but it will never go beyond the "flip to win!" strategy.

I will admit, the gameplay mechanics are pretty shallow. What's worse is that the game practically gives you a free pass to never die with certain augments. But there are plenty of ways to make it more difficult for yourself, even if that shouldn't be the objective of a game.

I really enjoyed the narrative and the lush depiction of the world. It has a homeyness, dare I say, a coziness, that's quite appealing. And I'm not a furfag at all.

I would say yes, but the gameplay isn't going to get much better. Combat mechanics will be exactly the same until you're more than halfway through, at which point a couple extra mechanics will be added on (but it'll still be easy).
The story/world/characters are worth it, especially for part 2, but if you NEED good gameplay in order to enjoy it, you'd be best just giving up now.

no

I think I'll go back to it. I've heard it's not that long anyway.

I liked it over all but thought the twist at end was stupid. I also hate how it's a furries wet dream. What's it going for nowadays? Got is for $20 with the cd

It looks like a very boring game that can only be enjoyed by a certain demographic.

20 hours, to be exact
It costs $80-$100 nowadays

Would Opera date a human?

This game was made to covert people to furfaggotry

...

If she falls in

and it worked
;_;

Some say the power of wishes is 4 real.

So, what do you wish for a third big game in the Little Tail Bronx universe?

I wish for a new story, and really good gameplay to back it.

...

I want to sniff Merveille's butt!

It's fun, if a bit repetitive. The were-human plot twist is the most hilarious straight-faced JRPG stupidity since the Xenogears crucification.

I had the world record on a couple of the races until Nintendo Wifi Connection shut down.

She is not a disgusting degenerate, and therefore keeps herself clean. As a result, her butt smells like nothing in particular haha!

A pity

CC2 are the biggest furries in the industry

CC2 are the biggest furries in the industry and they don't try and hide it

They publish a furry magazine and have a big portion of their site dedicated to furry stuff

Or at least they're the only big company who's actively outward about it

>Ehl wasn't a shota trap catboi but was actually a girl

FUCK THIS

No, fuck YOU!

I want to sniff her hair after she gets out of the shower

I thought it was weird that the main character was like an anti-werewolf and his powered up form was a human

usually it's the other way around

Also Bravo to the EU cover for spoiling it

My DS disappeared before I could finish it, which sucks cause I loved it.

Pretty sure my black friend took it.

I was actually mad about this too. Would've made a much better boy.

The opening also spoils it.

EU is retarded, we all know that.

How many characters would you not smooch?

...

...

Nintendo of Europe is the one who actually localized the game though, NoA wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole and XseeD just had to publish the localization in the US, same as the Rainfall games. I could deal with a shitty cover since it meant getting a game I thought had no hope of getting localized.

discord.gg/g4fy53p

I would smooch Mamoru multiple times.

0

I played the Mamoru-kun app on its website back then, you're exactly like the "shady guy asking kids to get in his van" character from it.

would this game play well on a emulator or does it require the touchscreen too much?

I seen tons of folks emulate it on YT, apparently there aren't any problems.

Man, to bad it was forced to be on the DSi rather then just on the DS and thus didn't really sell at all.

Also, Pink cat girl is a cute A CUTE!

i thought it was because of the total lack of advertisement

It was both.

This game should have been on PS3.

I just don't want it to feel uncomfortable like in other ds games where I'll have to take my hand off my controller to use the mouse.

Well, it would be the first ps3 game that could handle playing at 60fps

Please do not lewd the shota dogboy

Unfortunately I own a couple of 60fps PS3 titles, so your joke does not work on me.
