I have mixed feelings about it, but I still think it's the best game in the series since MGS3. Whether that says more about MGSV's quality or more about the quality of Portable Ops, MGS4, and PW is up to you.

I've never played a game in the series so this could still be me

I appreciate the game as a flawed masterpiece of stealth gaming with clear limitations in its level design/story/world building

Whatever, I hopped on back in the OG xbox days and loved the fuck out of V
