So, which game was better: Super Mario 64 or Crash Bandicoot?
So, which game was better: Super Mario 64 or Crash Bandicoot?
SM64. No contest.
Super Mario 64
>Which of these 2 games did you have more fun with?
The one you first play extensively.
Jesus christ that post is biased
>here's why crash is great
>here's why mario is good i guess i dont know it sucks kind of
mario 64. On the PSone spyro was superior.
Crash is shit and naughty dogs was shit back then too. They made a linear game and yet wasn't 1/10 as good as SMW.
spyro
inb4 exodia
nobody but amerifats even bought nshittyfours lol
Super Mario 64
There's a reason many people consider it the father of 3D video games
SM64. Pure magic.
look back now and it controls like fucking shit thanks to that fucking trash joystick fuck the lower framerate from PAL
Dis nigga gets it. Even if 2 was really fucking hard
seriously though how are you supposed to get the scientist past those Australian rock monsters
Crash was always bad lol
It plays a lot better if you get the virtual console release or something
It wasn't the joystick. It was the camera.
Banjo-Kazooie.
Not really
I don't even like SM64 but it's obviously superior to Crash
Both games are outclassed by Banjo-Kazooie and Spyro though.
>getting 100% in the game is also considered one of the most hardest things to do in a game of all time
Fucking casuals man. No wonder he's so amused by an extremely linear game.
Anyone who has played both knows that SM64 is unequivocally a better game. I liked the first 3 or so Crash games and I played CTR more than MK or DKR, but no Crash game can touch SM64.
play the PAL version and try doing sidejumps or just movement in general
even just turning is a fucking cunt dunno how i 120star'd as a kid
>bright and colorful worlds
...
>colors seem bland with no detail
Wut, Crash didn't even come close to beating Spyro, much less SM64.
Banjo was shit and more or less the reason 3D platformers died.
Mario 64 is one of the few games where the N64 joystick doesn't feel like trash. The entire controller was basically custom made for that game (or two-thirds of it, anyway). The long fucking radius of the control stick translated into increased fidelity of movement in game, Mario has a different speed and direction for pretty much every possible position you could put it in.
>getting 100% in Crash Bandicoot is considered one of the hardest things in any game ever
I see this kind of thing all the time. The game is really not that hard to 100%. I can do that shit in an afternoon.
Fare well, fishy
