Darkest Dungeon

Half off on GoG right now. Is it worth it? I worry it'll get repetitive fast.

Yes

>random generation
>like 12 enemies types per dungeon some of them being shared
>4 dungeons
>2 bosses per dungeon that you fight 3 FUCKING TIMES

Should be worth with upcoming DLC.
There's also an easy mode which cuts down grind time significantly.
I'd say go for it.

Do not believe the fags memeing about RNG or difficulty. The game is basically Pokemon with extra steps.
You can spend 20 minutes of reading on the wiki, or hours of recovering from mistakes you now know how to avoid. The choice is yours.

For me it's pretty addicting, if you like dungeon crawling and micromanagement it's pretty good.

What's the DLC adding?

It's not as hard as people make it out to be - at first. It's the later difficulties that are fucking stressful, but mostly they become a grind. They just released a "mode" (read: difficulty) that speeds up things so it doesn't take FOREVER to get to harder dungeons/prepare for new ones.

I'd say go for it.

...

Poncy vampires and a priest with a warhammer that kills them.

He's a boss so assumably characters can catch vampirism and he then hunts your ass down in the dungeon.

If I like to kill undead, is this a good game for it?
