Nintendo can't into time travel.
The Zelda Timeline is the most bullshit thing in video games.
Nintendo can't into time travel.
The Zelda Timeline is the most bullshit thing in video games.
Not really
What are some games with realistic time travel instead of this horseshit?
The timeline should have just stayed as a vague thing for fans to speculate on with hints. Trying to make it fully cohesive and explain a bunch of things that didn't need explaining with Skyward Sword ruined what was a cool meta-puzzle
Hello me from the past
It's you, me, from the future!
Stop smoking cigarettes. Be nicer to girls.
The only really bullshit part is the failure timeline. Most fans understood the two pronged split and it made sense. Certain games became harder to fit in there but you could make them all work.
Failure Timeline just comes out of left field but makes it easier to place all the older games with sparser Hyrules.
>Nintendo can not into time travel.
That's not how English works
...
Well first
>How would you do it better, einstein?
Second
>Caring about the continuity in this series when it's been established that almost no two games share a protagonist
newfag detected
Time travel is always a mess in anything it's featured in.
And also, you think zelda's timeline is the most bullshit thing in gaming?
I have three things to say to that.
>the last remnant
>kingdom hearts series
>metal gear series
All three are travesties that strive for the highest levels of bullshit.
>realistic time travel
>something made up with made up rules
Go back to 9gag, the creator of all these shitty memes
>multiverse
>not realistic
get a load of this hornse's ass
>The Zelda Timeline is the most bullshit thing in video games.

Not even close. Stop being a retard.
time travel doesnt make sense in any genre
especially in back to the future
You've never played Kingdom Hearts.
Radiant Historia did time travel well.
Failure timeline would make sense if they thought it through. Have the time travel create a split that goes like this:
Adult: Timeline Link goes to 7 years into the future where Ganon is defeated
Child: Timeline Link returns to after going into the future, but with no Ganon
"Failure": Original timeline where Ganon continues his rule because there is no Link. The future Link goes to is a split alternate timeline, and he never returns to this one.
This makes a lot more sense then just being like "yeah there's a timeline where he fails just because".
This. A failure timeline would then be possible to attach anywhere they wanted to, making the whole point worthless.
First, Majora's Mask did a better job with the time travel stuff than OoT, is still bullshit but mechanically works better for the sidequests and the gameplay.
Second, is important because Hyrule is supposed to evolve over ages but I think Nintendo or whatever who was in charge of the timeline said fuck it, no one cared about consistency until way too late and now we have a book with a fucked up timeline and new games that will fuck it even more.
>woo look at me I know about fringe science that was hyped for normie interest
