I always had shitloads of ammo so I never bothered with it.
If it was some rare ammo type that I only used for one gun, I'm already swimming in caps, so I just buy it off Van Graffs/Gun Runners

I tried my first run, but I beat the game before I could ever scrap together anything to make anything interesting. Even maxed the skill out. Kind of a waste, but maybe I was just looking in the wrong place.

Crafting in NV is a joke. It makes nothing useful. The materials aren't worth the effort they take to acquire and the end results aren't worth using.

M80. The NV threads are almost hourly and there were 3 up in the span of an hour. It pretty much is one of Sup Forums's generals along with fire emblem heros and Tales of Bersaria.

There is shit tons of things that can be acquired only by crafting, all of them OP as fuck.

Big dumb retard that brute forces his way through the game with the sanic speed power fist and power armor. If anything or anyone gives him any guff, he just punches the shit out of it in a blind rage.
His only motivation is to find bigger and bigger things to punch. Felt no regret at all for using the console to cheat open locks, pretending I was smashing the door open.

I installed new vegas again after seeing these threads every day and I keep having this annoying problem; every animation is sped-up. I tried capping the frames, forcing v-sync, capping the frames in NVSR, nothing works. I'm about to give up, I was really itching for a playthrough but this annoying bug is ruining my immersion. Fuck gamebryo.

So I've never done a Legion playthrough. Does teaming up with them make NCR attack you on sight unless you're disguised? I'd imagine a lot of the quests on the strip would be locked out as well.

I didn't enjoy my first playthrough that much. I played the game the weekend it came out on, and rushed myself to finish in like 20 hours. I had no clue I had missed a lot of quests since FO3 had like 15 side quests and I had done quite a few in NV.

I did a melee playthrough with super dark nights, streelights and monster mod.

Nothing more terrifying than walking off the street into the darkness and having a giant tarantula or super ghoul run over and rape you

i really wish the Legion content hadn't been cut though. There's no real good reason to pick them but i seem to remember them saying that there was going to be content where you see what the Legion lands are like - super regimented but safe, efficient etc

I did that. I even changed all 3 .ini files. I use Mod Organizer and I read someone had a problem with it. I went to use FOMM but everything wasn't installed and I didn't feel like reinstalling all of it just for the HUD. Guess I'm stuck with ugly vanilla HUD.

i've done a melee playthrough and whilst it's a fun concept, it basically boils down to w+m1, maybe if thrown weapons were replenishable/a bit better

i did a heavy weapons/explosives run through already.

Whats the earliest you can do Legion stuff, i guess i could headcannon some way that the Courier was an ex legion member or just someone who wants to purge the degeneracy of the wastes, maybe like a religious type? But then again religious types probably wouldn't like brutal torture.

VUI+ is probably the best out of all of them, after playthroughs with each. Look at the images on the page to see all the things it does if you don't want to read all that.

Weapon accuracy is tied to your weapon skill, laser weapons have almost completely zero spread at high skill you faggot.

Also you can exchange energy cells, microfusion cells and ECPs into each other very efficiently with the perks, and recycle them at a very high rate.

And you are supposed to convert them into max charge and optimized rounds whenever possible.
