Why do people not understand this? Even in mid diamond it's still like some sort of black magic only known by select few.

Yeah, I don't understand how something as simple as stand near the payload when you can no matter what escapes so much of the playerbase.

standing on the payload is mostly irrelevant. all that matters are the teamfights.

I almost exclusively play Reinhardt when on payload defense because of this.
It's absurd how many Reins stand miles ahead of the payload and continuously just backtrack away from it giving the opponents free passage.

nobody on my team will contest, so in i go as ana, and away runs the enemy rein for some reason

>realize how limited the games is due to it's nature (6v6, single objective centered teamfights only)
>undersand that for every match you join you basically role the dice
>in 80% of your matches, at least one of the 12 players will go full retard and ruin the game either causing you to crush your opponents or be crushed by them

>you can't have a good time going in 5v6
>you're fucked

I've played up until mid master and this never changes. throwers and trolls always exist and this game has no way to deal with them.

Is there any way to better manage my cooldowns without constantly glancing at that tiny number in the corner? I'm sick of mashing Shift until something happens.

Use your peripheral vision, in case you haven't memorized how long your CDs by heart already

3, I've stopped playing Mercy in the game that much, I mostly play Lucio, Mei, d.va or soldier. So I must make it up to her by becoming her IRL

Trying to keep the team fights around the objective is important though.
