> redemption for everybody except assault (lvl2 for the Tactician, from the start for all of the others) >Heavy flamer for tactician >Hellfire for Apothicary >spear also for the Heavy >all three unlock at lvl 2 (so from the start after chapter 4) >rock solid 60 FPS >MP finally stable
Samuel Mitchell
Yeah but are the maps still the same every single time?
Anthony Gomez
LOL
Lincoln Johnson
>Get your asses in here. MP is now finally pretty decent and fun
Why? Did they add new maps? New weapons? Can i have more than 1 weapon at once yet?
Like I enjoy the game, and its great flamers are finally in multi, but theres still fuck all for variety and replayability and half the levels are re-used for later chapters.
Sebastian Cook
>MFW wanna have fun with the flamer but kills are bugged and don't count
Well at least you get assists so that's something I guess
Austin Russell
Too little too late.
I hope the money they got from the first month of the game's release was enough to break even, because they ain't getting shit now.

How's the sp
Zachary Diaz
>tfw they made this instead of E.Y.E 2 >tfw this will probably tank them Rip Streum
John Taylor
AI still dogshit? Turret hacking still useless? Better map variety? Enemy variety? No?
Who would have thought Deathwing goes the same way as Vermintide. Oh like fucking everyone, except that Vermintide atleast attracts the L4D crowd
Michael Hill
>Who would have thought Deathwing goes the same way as Vermintide.
The same way being a very successful horde-FPS?
It sold 300,00 copies in a single month.
Ryder Clark
>It sold 300,00 copies in a single month. >very successful
Uhu. Not to mention all the refunds people asked for once they saw the shitty optimization and dogshit AI.
Alexander Clark
This game will build up a cult community and it will do well on consoles. I look forward to EYE 2
Michael Barnes
>if a game doesn't sell 5 million copies its a falure xD xD
wew
Adrian Williams
>Streum on employee fleeing into delusions
What a sad sight.
Jayden Gonzalez
Im not sure if you are mentally disabled or think 300,000 copies sold is actually good. Or maybe both.
They had one fucking job and they fucked up hard, Vermintide with its atrocious loot system that pushed off a lot of people, because grinding wasnt only stressful, it was next to useless thanks to absolute fuck all random shit you got and small as fuck map variety. They fixed that and the game is nice now, good loot system, nice amount of maps, but still always the same map objectives, no new enemies, like a rat abomination for example.
Deathwing has the same fucking problem, the aesthetics are great, but shitty AI ruined it from the get go, bots unable to walk backwards and shot at the same time, turret hacking that actually puts you in a disadvantage because your teammates cant block nids from your hacking position and the turrets do fuck all damage and especially NO FUCKING SQUAD ORDERS that actually matter. I dont want a Brothers in Arms here, but Republic Commando was the least thing they could have done here, instead of making another shovelware 40k game.
Christian Lewis
They might have, until everyone refunded.

I understand why people say the current loot system is good in Vermintide but it also means everyone is running around with max'd out gear.
Shitters keep joining nightmare/cata for the daily quest reward of orange gems. Then you have to carry them through because even if you kick them they will just rejoin and it's hard to time it so they don't get the loot in the end. Alternatively make the server private midgame but then you don't get anyone else to fill in.
The good shit you got before from stupid luck at least had some meaning compared to what other people had. Now it's just meta shit with exactly the best traits and exactly the best rolls except for bored veterans doing shits and giggles runs. I dunno, it made the grinding more fun when you always could progress a little more but not in a Diablo 3 stats inflation kind of way. It was still perfectly playable with "inferior" weapons as only damage and procs are rolled by luck. Four people with whites could blow through a cataclysm round if they just kept up a smidge of teamwork where no rats get a chance to hit back because of constant stagger. Then you bomb the ogre or what have you since they STILL haven't fixed it dying instantly under certain circumstances.
Matthew Foster
If it's fixed to a playable state as OP claims I wonder if most of those reviews are still valid?
I refunded because it fucking crashed to desktop several times the following days of launch. I may have played beyond 2 hours if that didn't happen. The reskin "new strain" on the later maps had me quite mad how it didn't change any behaviour or add any new types of enemies though.
Tyler James
>but it also means everyone is running around with max'd out gear. Im not sure if these people were botting or actually running such a fuckton of maps to get this level. This isnt even the highest one I had.
But yes, I understand your concerns, but Vermintide also had the same problems as L4D and just like you discribed, gear isnt everything. Dodging the fucking assassin or hook rat before they get you is way more important, or not wasting all your ammo in weak skaven slaves. But the loot system was definitly what was breaking their neck, it was just to shit, they could have added useless cosmetics to the game to grind and it would have been better than what they had.
Leo Nguyen
I'm still pissed how they showed screenshots of rats with shields and never added them.
They really only try to spin their current assets in different ways but adding 4 ogres to The Last Stand wave 30-something was really jarring how little they cared to introduce something new. Not to mention all the SMALL bugs that have been in since the alpha.
Hudson Hall
>Not to mention all the SMALL bugs that have been in since the alpha. Thats why I only use pistols and the crossbow on Saltzpyre. The gatling gun thing or whatever it is has a bugged alternate fire mode, the bullets just go through the rats and you can clear see them hitting the wall behind the enemy but they dont die.
Like I said, its a better game for sure now, but they scared away to many people with the shitty start and, like I said, is it really that hard to have a rat abomination? Or like killing a skaven army by breaking a dam, and your paths are determined by which part of the damn you destroy first and water blocking your way?
