I have Erika and think she's pretty useful. Her abilities are good and I think mine has better stats than average. I didn't have a good 5* red unit before rolling her so I'm pretty glad I got her.

Is it worth it to buy all the castle upgrades or is 60% enough?

Eirika is the only really worthwhile one.
Ephraim is mediocre, Seliph sucks, and Julia is an unnecessary magic tank who's pretty slow and arguably worse than Nino.
Unless you really want Eirika it's probably best to hold off on burning orbs right now.

For the record, the Choose Your Legends site has the complete results of the event, and Glade from Thracia 776 got 791st (last) place, with only 17 votes out of the thousands if not millions cast.

You get a higher ranking for using the Bonus heroes (obviously), using units with high stat totals (so having 5* units and 40+10 would be preferred), and not letting your units die in battle.

Either Merrick, Effie or Kagero I would say. Caeda isn't that special outside of a flying team, Hawkeye isn't too good and you don't need two Robins.

I miss a lot of things from the main games that Diet Fire Emblem doesn't have.

I miss speed actually making a difference in battle, other than just being able to double hit. I actually miss the ability to dodge or miss an attack. I miss criticals. I miss the skill stat. I miss class promotion. I miss actually putting in the effort on characters and the reward when they grow into powerful units.

I hate how tier lists are a thing in this game.

Yes. It lets you drag an enemy away, which can put you out of range of other enemies attacking on their turn or let your units gang up on the person she dragged better.

Situational, but lets you do some low-risk shenanigans, especially with range, dancers, or healers involved.

So SP has to be good for something after hitting cap, right? Maybe buying skills? It seems like everyone has a portrait for activating a skill, but only half of the characters actually use them.

Drag back? Insanely useful when you need to absolutely dogpile 1-2 certain units of the enemy in one turn.

Why does everyone have an A, B, and C passive slot, but only use two?

Right now, no, it's not useful for anything. In the future, maybe they'll let us do a Steal Skill sort of thing where you can take skills from your other units. Everyone does have a special portrait as you mentioned, and I don't think anyone can fill out their A/B/C slots on skills, they get 2 of them at most.

honestly not sure, though. You'll have to run calcs against the premier meta threats yourself. If -atk prevents a 1RKO, then that's pretty bad.

Inevitable class change mechanic? Or they're just lazy to implement unique slots for every character? Who knows.
