from a design standpoint it would be better if SAM was dps. Tank players have a mindset. Lots of people said they'd be DRKs full time, but we still have a tank shortage. Paladins and Warriors switch to DRK, just as the already small tank playerbase will just shuffle around more come SB

DRG is the slowest of the dps. When you get your rotation out, you are then up to speed but its the beginning that is really slow. Most of the other dps I see will already have mobs down by half while I am still mashing out my first combo. They need to the skill speed to reduce the cool down so they can be brought up to speed like the other dps

Well for one thing it is MORE DOTS: The Job.

It is incredibly effective for solo grinding since you can just summon Titan-Egi and your Choco and then run around blasting DOTS on entire zones and still win that is kinda boring and less flashy then most other jobs, and you basically start doing this as ACN, and groups will bully you for not being SCH.

I like the Armor though, Ancient Allag got style.

I will have to see the context to this. I am almost certain most of the damage DRGs take is not being able to move out of the aoe damage fast enough due to our jumps.

I think it might been that he jumped, and thus was In when he should been Out and took that damage, and in that case certainly the DRGs being a tard since the IN-OUT is basically always clarified before a pull on all versions of Chimera.

They certainly do for the relic version of the encounter anyway.

DRGs hit hard enough they need a ramp up time. The ramp up is still faster than monk though. Just do the 2.0 rotation those mobs.

Its just a bias people have from 1.0. When other melee jobs die nobody says shit. When the DRG dies its expected. Other melee jobs die just as much really
