The game has zero (0) enemy variety and the enemies it does have are used in the most boring ways possible. It rarely ever throws multiple challenging enemies at you even in NG+. Its pathetic, honestly.

How about you put the controller down and let that adrenaline rush clear so you can calmly calculate her moves instead of hyper mashing dodge the second she flinches in your direction.

I like the setting and gameplay is pretty good too.
It's far from perfect and has some flaws but I'd say that it's a solid 7/10, maybe an 8 if you need to describe it with numbers.

Why is the discussion of this game so dead? I thought it is good.

It is, but there's not really all that much to do post-game unless you're into the whole farming for divines thing. It's been out for almost 2 weeks (Almost 3 if you're in one of the countries where it broke street date), so the majority of people who played it and enjoyed it are done with it until the DLC hits.

Most of the discussion is on the nioh general on /vg/

If you've got the phoenix and let yourself run out of health while the gauge is full it activates. There's no attack animation though.

once you learn the timing it becomes easy against any weapon. you usually parry just before they start an attack, can be tricky to predict

It is useless. You should just pump into the stat of your favourite weapon and then health and ki. My William is a tank.

once you do that you forge weapons using 1 divine fragment at a time until one pops up at 320.

You can then soul match any weapon and it will bump the level to 320. also costs 10k cheap as fuck.

it also completely breaks the game.

You can break the game by level 70 if you know what you're doing. Nioh is a lot of fun to play, but goddamn it's so fucking easy to bend the game over and fuck it raw.

I find myself purposely gimping myself to have some actual challenge.

that is spoonfeeding and didn't teach you how to improve your skills, only how to cheese your way past a boss, and it's embarrassing.

Most people on Sup Forums have already played and discussed the game to death. Yeah it's only been like a week since release, but the game is really easy and since there's no PvP there's no real reason to keep playing after beating NG+ other than grinding out super OP gear.

For anyone who was wondering why they couldn't complete the last regions mission complete line you have to beat the dual swords dojo mission after u get 500k proficiency with it.

Paired lightning doggos are op as shit. Their special attack will stun lock and slowdown anything even if theyre lightning resistant, living weapon charges fast as hell, and has decent stats. Let your hp get low before you use it if you really want to fuck shit up.

About 2/3rd. Your power-level will just keep going upwards till an insane level, only way to keep it down is to not use Sloth-moyo and Ninjitsu

It's still worth a play through like most good games. You can't play one game forever user believe me I have tried.

You only need as much spirit as it takes to get the benefits from whatever guardian spirit you want. Otherwise it's a dead stat.

I never said it's not worth playing, it's just an easy game without much to discuss. PvP will hopefully save this game from the bargain bin though, hopefully again with limited Onmyo and Ninjitsu, especially the fucking sloth talismans.
