Which one Sup Forums?

Which one Sup Forums?

What's different?

Neither.

Nothing beats the original game on the original hardware.

3d is superior

/thread

3DS version

2014 is high resolution and 2011 is cel shade

Whichever stays true to the original textures and just makes them look nicer. I remember a lot of the texture packs I tried out were absolute shit because they went way to realistic looking on certain textures (which looks retarded on flat surfaces) and changed colors of a lot thing.

240p screen though

3DS of course, much smoother.

30fps though

>"the greatest game of all time"

They both stay true. the cel shade is just so colourful where as high res models do look good. I I keep switching my save between the both

You guys do realise I'm not talking about 3ds version

>Not playing HD version on Citra

Not running at 20fps beats the original game on the original hardware.

I'm new to zelda. oot is t the only one I played is mm worth the play or skip to wind waker?

MM is literally the best zelda game are you insane

Does citra even work yet. Surely zelda is unplayable right now

I tried a few years ago but didn't like the mask at the start do played oot instead. How long do I put up with mask before I get normal link?

So is the N64 version.

You just have to get your ocarina back after the very first cycle

I understand original hardware and crt for 8bit and 16 not the 64 though.

Only you can't increase the FPS without breaking the game and N64 emulation is shit.

Mountain wall or dense trees Sup Forums?

Yes both are the n64 with retexture packs

Once you get to clock town it takes about 10 minutes if you know how to skip to the last evening.

Kinda wish we could play as different models of Link in newer Zelda games where you can select as a purely fun extra feature to play as OoT Link, MM Link and so on.

What system would I need to play the remastered?

I always have played xbox and never tried the Nintendo64 so I would not know if they still make new controllers, system and the game itself

Yes n64 emulation is shit but find one flaw in ocarina of time emulation Pro tip. you might do

Not that long, though you will miss having that twirling move until you get the bunny hood. Personally for me it's
>Goron > Link > Deku > Zora
In terms of best forms

MM3ds

The textures are displayed improperly in every N64 game emulated, same with the lack of its distinct blurry AA. Zelda and Mario 64 both are playable though, that's pretty much when the developers of the emulators quit.

That's another reason I didn't play it. isn't the game timed. Like you only get certain amount of days?

The versions I'm talking about are n64 roms with new textures applied emulation via emulation. you would need any modern pc to play the game in question

Quit talking out of your ass, you know the game isn't going to be that unfair. There's obviously something that's going to give you a major advantage.

You reset the days, you can also slow down or jump ahead 12 hours. If you're going into a dungeon for the first time on the dawn of the 3rd day you're a moron.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>ds

>nintendo ports the OoT and MM from 3DS to switch (without 3D)

would you buy?

No, they're worse than the originals.

Can you remind if you wanted to?

The better question is:

Are there working OoT and MM 3DS roms out ?

So in order to play the remastered zelda I would need a pc?

So what if I wanted to play the original version?

does nintendo still make the Nintendo64 and it's storage, controller and the game itself?

Lol no you saying that just reminds me of that poor port of a port of a port of a shit port of sonic adventure on steam

The one that didn't completely fuck up the atmosphere.

of course.

> autism though

Where are you mars? If you want buy the game you either have virtual console or 3ds

Sweet

Can you recommend me a 3DS emulator ?

> emulator fags

> emulating handheld games

The definitive poorfag experiance

>you might do

I think you can get 3ds games with WIIU usb helper. I the best 3ds emulator is citra but I'm pretty sure that the emulator is still in infancy stages. I don't think it plays a thing at 60 still I could be wrong

Projecting much ?

Just because Ive got the money doesnt mean I spent it on a dead console

OoT 3D on 3DS is in 30fps

Ill go check it out mate, thanks alot!

OoT runs close enough to perfectly, just has some odd sound issues at times. MM tends to have more slowdown, but still very playable.

Sad thing is the lighting had to be that way since it's a handheld. Would pay Nintendo to put their remasters on a console so they don't have to do shit like a Mario 64 remake with a fucking run button.

> dead

?

Enjoy your awful hacked-together dual-screen emulation experience.

Tbh I'd rather play em on project 64 at least oot as I already started it. I do want to play dark moon though have you tried that yet with citra?

>original
>way it was intended
There are not valid "positives". They are neutral statements

Both look overtly saturated just from those screens

Play the original

Them screenshots don't do them justice have a quick Google they both look fantastic in their own separate ways

Wall. What kind of fucking question is that?

The cel shade version is the best version of oot

>does nintendo still make the Nintendo64 and it's storage, controller and the game itself?

What the fuck? You understand the N64 launched in 1996 and Ocarina of Time came out in 98.

No is the answer.

;^]

jesus christ what the fuck please don't use those graphic enhancers on the emulator

shiggydiggy

I SHIGGY

This, the gamecube port is the best version.

Why so?

Frame rate.

it's nighttime in 2011

gotta be really reaching to say thats a dense forest

You could run it on a Raspberry Pi

So.... what's the definitive version of Ocarina of time? I want to play a high resolution version with updated (but reasonable) textures, framerate etc.

Mad because he can't even afford a $35 pc for a superior experience.

pj64

Neither. Play a better game. (pic related)

>that spot in the corner
emulation is so shit.

This with retexture pack. There's loads different ones. Bit the hot picks are 2011 (cel shade) or 2014 remastered (high res) both are for high resolution but the 2014 stays true to the original. There is no best from here just preference

is there a way to make PJ 64 run at %150? it'd be perfect

3DSXL

when are emulators gonna add frame interpolation?

don't need to destroy the engine to get some slightly better visuals

It would destroy the game

If they re-vamp the lightining to match the N64 one sure.

Hell, I'm pretty sure that if Nintendo makes a Zelda Collection for the Switch with WWHD, TPHD, as well as a port of OOT/MM3D + the rest in ROM format I'm sure it would sell

but, the textures are best on the 3DS version, and so are the models.

>tone
it's a fucking video game, not a movie. who cares
